Hey guys, just thought I would give you my input on this, take it for what it's worth. Engagement and FPS limits are not meant to soley limit the pain. Pain is part of the sport, and you must have a certain level of tolerance if you wish to participate. Engagement and FPS limits are meant to ensure the safety of the players. Remember that women, younger children (<17), and even some adults, are not quite as sturdy as others. My wife for example, took a hit to her pinky knuckle from an MP5 shooting at 365fps at a distance of 20 feet. (below our engagment limit). This shot caused ligament damage, and since then she has had her hand in a brace for the past 2 1/2 months, and most likely it will require surgery to correct, and it will definatly cause arthritis at an eartly age. Just remember that pain should not be your only factor when determining safe engagement limits. Because last I checked, pain doesnt cause injuries, injuries cause pain.

We could just use the poor man's chrono. Not VERY accurate, but it does come to within a few dozen FPS, right?
I think with green gas, my stock tac master does around 320 or 330 (.2s).

I have a question. How old do you have to be to be apart of a airsoft sqermish? I have a ultimate TM Mark 23 Socom with Suppressor and maybe I might add a LAM Unit. I am 13 years old, can I join?

Thanks, Mike, you just revived a post that's over a year old and added NO new information to it. Please pay attention to the dates on threads before reviving the dead.

I agree with Munin perhaps you should read this.
Also just for a note I know reviving dead threads is not on the list, but it really is an unwritten rule, which is enforced please check the dates on the threads:)
