I wonder why you have to 18 or older just to be a squad support gunner or a sniper. Doesn't make sense to me

Because, A sub-18 year old player is not responsible enough to gun with a SAW with a 3000+ rnd mag, or a sniper rifle shooting 500+ FPS, possibly. In the eyes of the event manager, of course. ;D

A few pictures of the field can be seen here in this Op: Dark Angel thread on Airsoft Ohio. Um, ... there's a fort!

BFT, Its $30 if you pay in advance so you can save $10.
bobalis, If you read the rules it states 480fps max for support weapons and 600fps for Sniper riffles. Because of the very high fps it might be the reaon.

I just called the phone number from the Paintball field website and I was told that camping is FREE. Off course it might be very cold in mid November though.

Just wondering who else out there might be planning to hit this one since there hasn't been much activity on this thread. I think most of Socom is going. Be nice to hook up with other Michigan teams/players and make a showing. Get to all be on the same side for once maybe.

You have to be 18 for a gunner, or sniper... but u can play if I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. 16 correct? i was looking on the page and that link said...
Age Limit for the Event per insurance regulations is 16 and up with parental consent and Minor Medical Waiver.
Just wanted to double check the source so i didnt misread that!
Then you just click on the link to register and fill out the info correct... sorry for the newb question, but im considering goin to this op and its my 1st op

I didn't go to the site to be sure, but I'm reasonably certain they are not going to have actual helicopter insertions. Talk about liability. Bunch of army wannabe's like us tripping out the door at 40ft above the ground.......Sliding down a rope maybe.......
I don't think so. They'll do something like a "simulated" helicopter insertion. Load a team into a truck, take them to a border somewhere that would not be a normal reinsertion point and let the team in from a surprise angle.
