Operation: Firebrand is hosted by Airsoft Combat Operations (ACO)

Time: 9am-5pm

Location: Muskegon (35 Acre lot)

Admission: $10 (per person)

Details:

ACO operates much like the Cimmerians in CA where we like to preform real-life reenactments. If you would like to participate in Operation Firebrand, there are a few requirements. You must be wearing some form of military outfit (SAS, USGI, Russian, etc), hiking boots or military boots, some kind of time device (watch, chrono), eye protection, a mature attitude, a vivid imagination, and respect to all players. A 360fps gun regulation will be enforced unless you have a sniper rifle. If you have a sniper rifle, you must also carry a second AEG for closer range shots - we don't want people getting shot at a close range with your sniper rifle.

Operation Firebrand is a well thought-out, multi-mission operation that will test your ability to work as a team and effectively communicate. You will not be disppointed if you come to the event. However, if you are looking for a quick shoot-em-up event where everywhere you turn is a potential target - this is not for you. Are main focus is reenacting a real-life situation. You may not see or shoot at your enemy for 30-45 minutes (like in real-life).

Please do not attend this operation if you are not willing to accept the previous requirements. We are only looking to play with those that want to have serious fun.

Just wondering who this guy is? Anyone know him, or the quality of this event? Not trying to be too cautious but if I drive down there and it sucks I'm gonna be a bit pissy about it:) Just wondering if it's anyone we all know and also I don't recall ever hearing of ACO before. Just wanted some more details from everyone here.

Just making sure since I'm assuming your talking about WTS-Mike and not mikecat13. (not that it would be a problem if it wasn't WTS just wanna get the facts straight) Sounds good then:) Gonna have to mapquest it and get ready to come have some fun:)

The 360 cap is pretty... Blah. I shot 358 at WF so I guess I'd be good.

Hello Everybody,

Ryan from ACO here.
To answer some of your questions.

Yes, ACO are the guys who running Wolverine Fury with Clayton. You have probably not heard of us before because we have mainly held private operations in multiple locations around Michigan. We do make a bold statement about striving to be like the Cimmerians but that is where we want to take this club. Inside of A.C.O. we have a core team by the name of Detachment Delta. Detachment Delta will be the elite of ACO. More to come as I'm writing an article for FPS magazine.

Yes, the location will be the same place as Wolverine Fury. I will get mapquest working in the next few days so you have a link if you weren't there before.

BDUs - Ghille suit is fine as long as no one can see civilian clothing.

Age limit of 18 years old.

ACO feels that 360 fps is ample power with the right modifications. We will be sticking to our guns on this. - no pun intended.

Remember that this operation is not a shoot-em-up event. So if your looking to fire your weapon every 15 minutes you will be disappointed.
