I recently purchased a VFC hk417 and love it except one thing. I'm planning on using it as a dmr after upgrades, but, before I sink more money into it I checked to see how well it shot .36 bb's (my preferred weight) and it doesn't, after trying a few things I figured out it was the magazines,I have two, aren't feeding the .36's. They load .25's and .20's perfectly. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

That's weird. The tiny difference in weight shouldn't matter that much. Disassemble, clean, and maybe replace springs if necessary.

What brand of bb maybe there is a difference in size etc that could be playing a role along with the weight. Might need a stronger spring or maybe just shim the spring so it's putting out more pressure but if they won't feed mostly full I suspect that shimming won't help since it's under full pressure at that point.

I tried to take it apart, unfortunately it seems vfc is against that, there were no guides on how to take them apart anywhere (I looked) after figuring it out myself this was my experience. Not only is it close to impossible to get the first shell off (there are two layers) the second layer has screws that are made of a super cheap metal that strips easy, I messed up one of them and am hesitant to open my second one. (The first still shoots, just some of the screws are stripped)
As for the brand I got them as a gift, they are .36 bio goldenball, I ordered some .32's elite force and will see if those work.
