I wear glasses, and it sucks for airsoft (as those of you who wear glasses can attest). I do, however, have a pair of prescription safety glasses; unfortunately they are not full seal. But I was wondering, if I can attach some foam or rubber to the glasses, would that be acceptable as full seal? Here are some pics of the glasses What do you think? Is this attainable? If this would be acceptable, what would you recommend I do? Thanks

The question you should answer is does it provide a full seal?
It looks like it seals the top and part of the sides. It does not look like it fully seals the sides and it does not seal underneath the glasses. There needs to be absolutely no gap between your glasses and the area around your eyes. Also what is keeping the glasses on your head? If you jump up and down or abruptly stop or hit something, will the glasses come off? My guess is that it will. As they are currently, those would not be allowed.

Yeah I know they're not currently acceptable, but my main question is if I get inserts or glue some foam on the inside would they then be acceptable? Also as it stands right now, they would fall off; however, I have an elastic strap designed to attach to glasses and prevent them from falling off (they're designed for sports use.)

Do you know what the rating of the glasses are? The rating should meet or exceed ASTM F 1776-01, ANSI 87.1 2003 (civilian), or MIL-V-43511C (military).
If it does meet the rating and you were able to secure the foam or rubber piece completely around your eyes so that there is no gap and with the addition of the strap to keep it in place, I don't see why they would not be allowed.
Don't take my word as gospel though. You may still want to check with your field mods to make sure they are ok with it.

With a full gasket and strap they would probably fog like crazy.
Quick research, it looks like most sports eyewear is ASTM F803 rated, which are tested for sports balls and finger pokes at normal sports velocity. ANSI rating uses a 150mph 1/4" steel ball bearing for the test. Not saying those won't stop a BB, but I wouldn't trust my eyes to something that isn't ANSI / MIL rated.
If you can afford it, some goggles have RX carries that can be put in them. Wiley X also make some sweet prescription safety lenses. One of my team mates has a pair of them, and they are pretty solid.

I got pretty fed up with trying different goggles that fit over my glasses.I had a lot of problems with them fitting over my frames properly and comfortably, also fogging was a large issue for me.If the goggles didn't fog,my glasses did.I know that didn't answer your question,But I Found contacts were a great option for me.

Revision has a prescription insert that snaps inside the goggles, but you would have to have prescription lenses fitted to the insert that site fills them if you know your prescription. I am sure other brands do as well. I wear glasses as well and have the same issues. I have an eye appt. next week and am thinking about going back to contacts. But if I don't I plan on picking up one of these inserts for my goggles.

I just buy a pack of contacts and only wear them for Airsoft and diving. Is that not an option?

I probably should have given more info, airsoft is the reason I got contacts but I really like them so I use them most of the spring/summer.I work outdoors a lot so in the winter the dry and cooler weather dry my eyes out. And they become quite uncomfortable. (Thanks for the info X,I wasn't aware of daily contacts).

Mine are cheap only because I use them rarely. I might go through a dozen pairs of dailies per year. That's like less then a half month's supply. If those were 12 monthlies then obviously that's like a years supply. On a per day cost though dailies are more expensive. I think your probably best off using monthlies in the summer and dailies for the occasional winter game.

Or you could be like me and get 2 week disposables, call them out on it, and wear them for two months at a time. 6 pairs last me a year.

I would second contacts if you can wear them. Otherwise buy a pair of ANSI rated RX fullseals with the backstrap; yes they'll fog but it's still better than having goggles and glasses fogged at the same time. WhileyX are popular and you can buy used frames super cheap on EBay; I just got a pair of generics from my eye doctor. I also highly recommend OPS Drops for no-fog, they work awesome! On a final note, there will be places that won't allow you to play with full seal perscription safety glasses because they can look a lot like shooting glasses; sometimes this is because of insurance reasons, but other times its because they're completely inept a**holes who don't even understand the ratings they're attempting to enforcing.
