Long story short I want to know more about the differences between AEG and GBBR rail specs. From what I've read on other forums I've found that there is a difference between AEG and GBBR rail specs. I would also like to know that between different brands, GBBR, if its a general thing for them to have the same specs. From what I've read G&P/WA's have different rail specs then all other GBBRs. Thanks for any answers you can give.

As far as I know, Madbull rails are pretty compatible with most GBBRs. I personally have a Madbull rail on my WE M4 and it went on no problem. I did have to mod it to accept the mock gas tube, but you'll have to do that anyways if you want a gas tube, it's not necessary.
I know that WE and KWA will accept most airsoft and Real Steel rails with little to no modification. I dont have any experience with the G&P or WA, but I think they are pretty similar to G&P aegs, which if I remember correctly can be iffy on the receiver threading. There is a thread modification tool that fixes that.
Overall if you go with a WE or KWA you'll probably be fine, my guess is that if you go WA or G&P you may need to do a little extra work but you should be ok.
