As far as using vehicles in MiA sanctioned games: Which (if any) fields permit this? I have a Jeep that is DYING to have an LMG mounted on the roll cage and other shooters ride along. I don't mind it getting hit and/or scratched by bbs as it has seen much worse. Where can I/we do this in Michigan?

It's totally up to the game hosts. There's only a few fields I know of that have actual dirt roads, but I'm not intimately familiar with every single field in MI. The most feasible fields for vehicles, in my opinion, would be Hells Survivors in Pickney, Area 51 paintball in Mancelona and Excalibur paintball near Battle Creek (if anyone can get host permission there).

We allow it at certain events for Hell Survivors. So far the biggest problem is Tan team typically has one while Green Team does not, so right now I'm taking it off the shelf until someone like yourself gets involved and wants to serve as transport/machine gun for the other side.
The only other issue with Hell Survivors is that currently they only allow for field movement in one direction, which means if you want to back up you have to go all the way around the field. Something I'm going to attempt to press on the field owner is frequent roundabout locations so vehicles aren't as restricted, but to be honest it's pretty low on our list of overhaul ideas to that field.
EDIT: Another thing worth note is how protected you intend on making your gunner. Personally I don't allow plastic barriers that bbs can't penetrate to where it make it near impossible for anyone on the ground to sink a shot on the gunner, so ensuring you don't have too much protection on your dude is going to be important at a field by field basis as well.

Awesome, thanks for quick replies guys! Mosin: I'd like to continue discussing the possibility of myself becoming a driver for some upcoming events this Spring/Summer. Can I PM you with some further questions?

I'm hoping to bring some vehicles in this summer as well but I'm not likely to be downstate playing much. Also couldn't bring the military 6x6 that far without spending a fortune

See if this works: This was from a while back when we picked it up my dad was taking it for a test drive;) Technically he owns it my buddy and I have driven it and used it more than anyone else around here. Basically an old 6x6 with an extended bed length on it longer than they typically made. From the little bit of looking about I did, the Air Force made it up that way for loading some sort of something. But end result is a dang neat old truck;) We got the 18,000lb winch on the front working last year for skidding logs etc. But now that I've gotten back into airsoft I'm planning on using it for some transport etc since it's sitting at his place which is on the next fourty over from my house. Unfortunately, you're really far away from the rest of us.

Yep that's the downside, but you never know maybe someday I'll have a big game up here that some guys might want to come up for;) But at this point I'd need allot more time to put it together to a level that I'd be happy with it so who knows what the future will tell.
