Spoke with the owner today.
The field compressor is getting it's spring maintenance, so there will be no air fills at the field for this event. They can fill at the Livonia location to 3k psi.
The positive side of this is if there is no field air, there is not going to be any paintball being played.

Thats a very big let down for me. I have 3 tanks that I need filled. Now I have to pay about 15 bucks to get them filled then pay 15 more to get them filled again so I can use them at matrix. I may skip this event now.

I may skip this event now. It happens. Not much that can be done about it. It was sent out and she found out it wouldn't be done in time. Also, if you blow through 3 tanks in a day at a rec game, you're doing it wrong. |

I may skip this event now. You know, it's also not that hard to go and get your tanks filled prior to attending. There's SCUBA shops everywhere in this state. I have used my SMP three times this winter and all three times I have went the day before the event took place and have driven 15-20 minutes to a SCUBA shop to get my tank filled. I also found one that will fill my tank up to 4k PSI which is why I prefer going there anyways because I can get at least two airsoft events worth of play on 4k PSI. |

How in the Hell are you blowing through 3 tanks at one event? Do you bleed them to less than half pressure before even hooking them up? This honestly blows my mind. Unless your running through 6k+ (conservative estimate) rounds in which case you're either an over-killing ass or the worst shot in the history of ever.

Calm down guy. I dont know how much I will use. I have not used the setup yet. I know I will not be shooting more then 2k rounds since I just shoot semi or 3 round burst. I currently have 3 empty tanks and wanted to fill them up at no limits as part of the cost of admittion. But now I have to pay extra to fill them since the compressor is down. Then I want to have them refilled so I have no worries at the matrix game. It is a extra cost I did not plan for.

I was not complaining. You guys seem to be making a big deal about it, I simply said I may not come as one of the main reasons I was going to attend was to fill my tanks. I never blamed SK for anything, I know things happen.

You could have just stopped at your first sentence, but you felt the need to keep going and complain about how much you'll have to pay to get them filled twice. What was the point of that? Do you purposely try to be an ass or are you trying to make it look like it we have control over the situation but choose to provide players with a disservice by not having air available? I'm sure almost anyone here can tell you how generally cool I am towards everyone and I know I've talked and shot the shit with you on several occasions before...but don't come up in here trying to make us look bad by droning on about issues that are out of our control. That's what gets me mad. On a lighter note, I love everyone as much as I love kittens, puppies, rainbows, and cheeseburger-farting unicorns...which is a lot. |

Me and my daughter might attend. Having a bit of trouble getting permission from the wife (she is a Girl Scout leader and it's cookie booth season, since none of the parents are actually taking an interest in what their kids are doing and not willing to do anything, I usually have to sit at the booths with her so that there are 2 adults present  ) So I probably won't know if we can come or not until that morning. |
