A buddy of mine tried the 3d model and had it printed by shapeways in two different types of material and neither one sealed. I'm not sure if that was because of poor tolerances by shapeways or because the model is just off.
Op, I'd go for a CA or A&K if you go the sr25 route since all the parts are replaceable.

After doing some more research I think I have decided on the A&K SR25, mainly due to the affordability and the decent reviews it has.
On a side note what kind of upgrades should I add? I know an aftermarket hop up and tightbore is almost mandatory for a good dmr; what brand/style do you consider the "best?" But other than that what would you recommend?
Thanks again.

In my past experiences I usually go with a madbull barrel, Prometheus makes a very nice barrel as well. I'd stick with a 6.03 as compared to a 6.01. As for hop up brand madbull or prowin.

Prometheus by far makes the best inner barrel on the market. Stainless steel and very precisely machined I used the MadBull Black Python VII for a while, and it was pretty nice. Its aluminum construction made it very lightweight, but it also was able to vibrate more in the gun while firing. Over time, the inside of the barrel also wore down slightly, so it isn't as consistent anymore.
For hop-up units, I would stay away from the MadBull chambers. They have been known to have a lot of issues in the past. I have a ProWin, and I love it. Prometheus also makes a very nice chamber called the "Neo." It's pretty freakin' expensive and rare to find in stock, but I've heard it's worth it. Lonex makes a decent chamber.
