Next year I will be a freshman at CMU, and I have no intention of not playing airsoft while I'm there. Does anyone know if Central has an airsoft club or anyone who goes there that attends games?

I've heard word of an airsoft club there. I know that MMCC has one as I am from the Mt. Pleasant area also. I am brand new to this sport so I'm jsut getting started but I am always more than happy to throw some bb's on the weekends! Keep in contact!

The only problem I'll have is storing my actual replicas. Can't keep it on campus or the liberals will have a cow. Gear shouldn't be an issue, but I don't want to start a lockdown just because someone sees my M4.

Had a similar issue at Western when I was there. My buddy and I kept them covered in our cars and kept our mouths shut about it. If you don't want to risk that then find a self storage near but not on campus. It also wouldn't hurt to ask campus safety if they have a locker you can rent. WMU had a couple that people kept guns in during hunting season.

I hadn't thought of storing it with campus safety. That's definitely something I'll look into. I've thought about stowing it in my car, or even just getting it from my house when I need it, since I'll be close to home when I come the MSU for my Air Force ROTC classes.

Important detail, when I was at WMU I actually scheduled a meeting with their student affairs Dept. head as well as the Chief of WMU campus safety to try and change what I viewed ad an unnecessary policy and although they denied my request they did clarify a question I had. That question was if I deactivate my airsoft gun can I have it since it will not be a complete gun? The short answer is no. The long answer is that because it can be readily converted to function it is still considered a complete gun. They cited a case like this one where a person was convicted of having an illegal firearm even though they didn't have all the parts to it readily handy.
