Howdy, from Elkhart!
I'm native to the Airsoft-Indiana forums, and keep hearing about MiA so I figured I would join, considering I'm more than likely closer to most Michigan games than I am to Indiana games.
As far as guns and gear go, I own a UTG MK96 that's been upgraded to the point I can accurately hit 300' with it. I also own a JG/CA FrankenAUG and a Tokyo Marui M&P9. For gear I typically run woodland and my TT mini mav, with the pouches swapped out depending on which rifle I am using. I enjy both recreational games and milsims, having attended the last 2 blind fury events in Springfield, OH. I'm currently trying to get either an E&L AK 74smn, or a Krytac SPR to round my collection out a little more.
I like to try to go to Kalamazoo airsoft once every month or so, when I can get the time off of work. I've only been there twice so far, and for the most part have been impressed with the sportsmanship, barring a certain group from chicago and one regular player there.
Looking forward to enjoying my stay here, and hopefully getting in some trigger time soon with the members here.

Welcome!
How do you like that Tokyo Marui M&P 9? I have a VFC M&P 9 myself since I wanted a full size to match my real steel S&W M&P 9 and I've heard good things about it!
Be sure to check out games located at Hole in the Wall Paintball in Bangor Michigan as that's about 20 minutes south east of South Haven Mi and shouldn't be any further than Kalamazoo for you.

I'm very impressed with the M&P9 so far. I'm glad it has the thumb safety, unlike the WE M&P9 does. I had a WE, and it disappointed me greatly, considering it broke within 10 mags. This TM so far is, well, a TM in the fact that it just keeps on giving. Fits great in a serpa, is very economic on gas, even witht hebig bore cylinder that comes pre-installed in it, and is accurate beyond reason. I can get about 2 full mags off a single fill of green gas. It also feels very close in dimensions to the real deal, and the thumb safety just adds to that effect (I like thumb safeties. A lot.)
Having never tried the VFC, I can't say how it would compare, but I can say that I would fully recommend the TM M&P9. Plus, they've announced the VTAC version, so TM will have an FDE M&P9 out in the (hopefully near) future.

Yeah, my VFC also doesn't have a thumb safety, and neither does my real M&P, but I really wish it had one! Cool, well maybe I will try and sell my VFC and put that cash towards the purchase of a TM!
