Assault on Mulberry Creek - Postponed Hey there guys, I really hate to do stuff like this. But I think I'm going to have to postpone the Assault on Mulberry Creek coming up for the end of May. Timing wise I just don't think is going to work with attendance numbers being as low as they are. Memorial Day weekend definitely isn't helping, but that is my fault for planning. Gotta love holidays... I'm going to have to reschedule this event for future date to be announced. I would just try and run the event with teams/numbers the way they are, but in my experience scenario/military simulation events do not work out with faction numbers like this. Part of which being if a few more players drop out (always anticipated) numbers shift to dramatically in favor of one team or the other. That just makes the game not only much more difficult for one team but generally makes it very lopsided as well. Then people leave not having a good time and that is not what we are all out there for... I would like to sincerely apologize for having to postpone this event. Instead I would like to still invite anyone that still wants to airsoft to come out for an Open Play Recreational Event scheduled for the same date; Saturday, May 23rd, 2015. When: Saturday, May 23rd, 2015. Where: Hole in the Wall Paintball Ages: 14+ Admission Price: $15.00 Per Person. Address: 24262 66th Street, Bangor, Michigan 49013 Registration Open: 9:30 AM. This is my birthday, so it better be sweet.
Everyone who signs up, I HIGHLY suggest dressing the part. It's way more fun that way. Most clothing items can be found a the thrift shop for under $20 a uniform. Bonus points for using period weapons!

For those of you who were not there or have never heard of it, part of the inspiration behind this event was a game held in 2009 at Blast Camp that Myself, Big Texas, Kazz, and GlassArchitect and a few other MiA members attended. Well guys, this event is definitely going to happen. I'm stunned by the level of excitement Michigan Airsoft has shown for this event, I wasn't expecting that...
Just an update for anyone that I talked to at Operation: Firestorm IV over the past weekend: I have made the decision to not have the owner use his Model A for this event. As fun as the idea of "Liquor Runs" using that vehicle sound, I'm far, far too concerned about the potential for damage to the vehicle. Let's face it guys, even if I make a rule where you can't shoot at the vehicle or the driver, people will. People don't care... =/
