Ogre,
They don't. They prohibit the sale of firearms and weapons. Only a complete jackass could possibly consider an Airsoft gun a weapon, which is why there are dozens of proboards based Airsoft forums with commerce sections.
Zigi,
Yes, MiA will remain open one way or the other.

OK, it just seems up in the air weather or not people want to start a new site and ditch this one.

If that's the case, I would say fuck them and call them on their bluff. Let's start an alliance and gang bang their wives as well. And yes, before anyone asks, all of the above is sarcasm.

What's that? I gangbang I hear? Count me in!
But seriously, if they don't specifically list Airsoft in there ToS, then I say let's call their bluff, if they do delete MiA. At least we would have grounds for a lawsuit, since we never actually violated there ToS.

Ogre, what they consider objectionable content is at their discretion. They could find a million things on here to delete the forum for if they wanted to.
Also, how would "we" have grounds for the lawsuit. The person that the forum is registered to would have to file the suit, and I really doubt that Hado would really want to get into all that. The lawsuit would never get off the ground because all they have to say is they violated our Objectionable Content Clause of the ToS. No judge is going to let his court room turn into a circus while two lawyers butt heads over what objectionable content is. You would never be able to get past the definition of Objectionable, so the ruling would be in favor of Proboards, since they are offering a free service, and have clauses in place to terminate said service at any time.

Overall we gain nothing by pissing off proboards. If we want this place as an archive for the new site we should probably just take the bullet and move on because we only lose if we fight back.

Somebody reported SEMIA, too. Who is even pissed off right now? We've been pretty drama free for months. Wouldn't be surprised if SEMAP and its proboards forum were targeted next at this point.

If we really wanted to move to a new site, a group of people could take the time to copy the important info, like give a section to each person to go through and find the important info and copy to bring try a new sight, would take a while though, but might be worth it. Just a thought that came to mind.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone brought up our rights and wanting to sue. Lulz.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone brought up our rights and wanting to sue. Lulz. But like... If we have a car wash and bake sale we might have 1/16th of the amount of money we would need to go to Texas and hire a lawyer to sue Proboards which would also result in us having all of our stuff deleted anyways. Honestly though... I would be very interested to know the thought process behind a lawsuit. What potential outcome would one expect? If they deleted our forum, they haven't costed anybody a single dime, they would actually be losing themselves the tiny bit of ad revenue we provide them. The fact that this was even brought up is absolutely laughable. Proboards owes us nothing. We don't have any implied freedom here, speech or otherwise.

Well, since semia commerce is shut down as well I'm offering another temporary fix specifically for MIA while we figure out a more permanent home. This one requires a reddit account though but its better than nothing at the moment: www.reddit.com/r/MIAcommerce/
I'd suggest posting there for the moment and just post a direct link in your signature so that people can see what you have for sale.EDIT: I'm taking volunteers with good sales reps and reddit accounts to help moderate the subreddit. EDIT #2: Font size for visibility.
