A friend of mine is starting to have some trouble with his mp9. Before, it was just random locking back when he was going at it on full auto, but that was probably because of the BBs (Crossmans...). Now, it won't even fire. When he locks racks the bolt with a mag full of gas and pulls the trigger, there's only a little spurt and the bolt barely moves. Any ideas?

I know it's simple, but I've got to ask, has he ever lubed the gun, or perhaps disassembled it to clean it. Sounds like something is rubbing or stuck. Perhaps a bb broke and is stuck in there. If the problem has progressively gotten worse, it'd make since if he hasn't cleaned it. Gbbs can be very finicky if not maintained.

Either broken Nozzle or the hammer isn't striking the valve hard enough. (worn out spring.)

He took it apart yesterday and it looks like the nozzle is shot.
