I only have a couple of pieces left for my WWII loadout (which should be here this week or early next) and I'm FINALLY going out! I also got a custom made ankle brace that should give me the confidence I need to walk on ground other than a sidewalk. Right now I'm not sure which field I'll be at (I live in Dearborn) but I'm hoping to finally meet you guys! I'll be the old fart in his 101st Airborne loadout carrying a M1 Garand, a Thompson SMG and a holstered Elite Force 1911 A1. I can't wait!

Do you know when I have to commit? Also, do I just go to the link or links you've provided and post to sign up? Thanks!

I know for the event at Hell Survivors request prepayment, as they have to have a set number of attendees for lock the field. For the Matrix field and Action Paintball, the events will be held no matter the projected attendance. Matrix averages 20-30 players and Action Paintball averages close to 100 every event.

Thanks. I really appreciate your help. Since I live in Dearborn, I think the Taylor events will work best because sometimes I'm limited to the amount of driving I can do and my son (who is also quite excited) is only 15 and doesn't drive.

Action Paintball is a good field for your first event. It will allow you to meet many new people and the field is a little smoother and flatter then Matrix is, this should help with your walking. If you decide you want to play on a smaller and slightly hillier field then matrix would be a good choice. Although the field can be a bit rough in some locations and the vegetation is dense in some areas. I am the current host of Matrix and Pagan is the host of Action Paintball. No matter where you play be sure to have a good time.
