Well obviously the main difference is that the first one has a 10(ish)" cqb length outer barrel. I purchased a well used one just like it for my son and it's a great little workhorse. They honestly rip with a 9.6 battery and once you get the Hopup tuned perfectly with a tightbore barrel it will hold it's own against any higher end replicas you will encounter on the field. The fps is a bit higher on the second gun with the longer 14.5" which is fine if you play outdoors but you will have to downgrade the spring If you want to to cqb with it. The longer outer barrel is still just fine for cqb however, which brings me to my last point. The 14.5" one has a one piece outer barrel while the cqb one does not. For this reason alone I'd chose the second one.

The 2 price barrel let's you take off the front sight right? On all of the combat machines I've seen, the front sight is part of the outer, so you can't take it off. Here's an example: You can see that the front sight is connected to the front sight.

Well I'm curious then @pagan. The listing on asgi for the longer one has a 'one piece outer barrel' in the description. Either way both would be great guns for OP, I just thought a one piece outer would be nicer than the silly one on My kids CM raider.

Asgi probably swapped the barrel, or ordered it from G&G with a one piece. The three cm I've had all had the fixed fps.

You meant fsp(front sight post) correct? Just for clarification for OP.

Thank you guys for your help, I am trying to decide between one where the front sight can be removed, or a combat machine
