I recently received a bag of king arms .25 bio bb's from a friend. I am a little concerned whether I should be using them in my gun. They are green and I have never seen high quality green bb's before. Also I have heard some bad things about there bio bb's. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks

KA is fine, .25s are fine, and I haven't run into an polished bad bio before.

You generally can't go wrong unless its something like goldenball, matrix or Crossman.

Dakota, am I correct in my understanding of your post that goldenball are not a BB you would recommend? Forgive my ignorance, but what ammo would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your advice!
Just a quick add on here: I did have a problem with my M1 Garand when I tried goldenball .25s.

I run KWA .30's and I get excellent results with them. Although the best bb's I've shot consistency wise were probably Elite Force or Valken bbs. G&G bbs tend to be fairly good as well.

If you really want to know how the King Arms BB's are: Take a sample batch of 10 bb's and split them in half. From there identify and notate any air pockets. Also notate if you find any seams.
From personal experience: King Arms, KSC/KWA and Bioval's run great with the most consistency.

I tried them out a while ago and it was almost if I had no hop up what so ever, they would just curl down almost immediately. My friend used them and said they were fine but I will have to do some more testing. The bioval bb's are the best I have used so far but there biodegradable bb's tend to have some feeding problems in automatic it seems if you go past a 4 or 5 round burst. semi automatic there is not really any problem. I am going to be trying out elite force next time I buy bb's, Thanks guys for your help

...Bioval's run great with the most consistency. I can second this. Bioval BBs are the best biodegradable BBs that I've ever used. Not only are they the only biodegradable BBs to be approved for use by the U.S. DNR, but there was also a test done in a video somewhere on YouTube (if you really want to see it I will try to find it) showing that Bioval BBs were the most accurate out of several others (the only other brand I remember was Elite Force, which came in last in the test). But yes, King Arms BBs are fine and I have used them before with no issue.

You generally can't go wrong unless its something like goldenball, matrix or Crossman. I have used nothing but Goldenball BB's in my gun since it was purchased and have never had an issue. They were one of the 5 brands recommended by the gun manufacturer as to not void the warranty. I have a 6.01 tightbore barrel and still have had no issues with Goldenball BB's. I have used Goldenball proslick .25's, .28's as well as bio .28's at Grayling.

I've never heard of any issues with Goldenball BBs. I've also never used them, so I have no personal experience.
