Jet the Desert Fox posted up a video asking for help on the above mentioned bill. Here is the video and here is the actual legislative text. Should we help out, be worried, or not care? Just curios on everyone's opinion.

Isn't that only for California? I mean evike would surely suffer but in general things here would be the same.

Most airsoft guns come into the US through CA, so if they mess then up it will likely mess up a few other things.

It might have a domino affect on other states. I wouldn't mind if they forced younger players to have bright guns. I think if they adjusted it to an age of 16 then it wouldn't get so much heat. I also think Scotland has a law like this where you have to be at least 18 to have a regular colored gun (I could be wrong).

If we let this pass whats next? All clear guns?

Reaper - They already do clear guns their called Walmart guns. Roger Monk - That's what I'm afraid of is a domino effect throughout the states. Your right on the Scotland thing. Theirs also some other stipulations in. Here's what I found. Zephurah - It is only for California as of the moment, but like Roger mentioned this could lead to a domino effect. Also like Kjones mentioned that's where most players get their airsoft guns from. The only place players would be able to get their airsoft guns from that look real (off the top of my head) is Airsoft Atlanta.

Reaper - They already do clear guns their called Walmart guns. I own a clear Echo1 that will kick the shit out of your Walmart gun. Seriously though, clear guns were popular for awhile due to laws in Canada at the time that required all airsoft guns to be clear, they have since been changed. That being said, you can still find quite a few high end guns with clear bodies, run them at a National Level Milsim for extra lulz. All I see from this bill is Evike and ASGI relocating out of California. Even if they don't and new replicas wind up being orange. The majority of us are just either going to paint over them, or buy a new body for them. I don't see this seriously impacting airsoft, ateast not on the east coast.

I'm sure DeLeon is thinking 3rd time's the charm but now the industry in California has 2 or more years of experience using pressure and logic to prevent this boneheaded law. They should be able to handle it, but if a nation wide petition pops up it can't hurt to sign it.

Airsoft G.I. already has an east coast facility, and I expect that they will be expanding it or making more. However, if there is something that we can do to help prevent the passage of the bill, I think we should. That would prevent any domino effect, and I'd like to think the Californians would do it for us if our positions were reversed.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards In my opinion, We're going to see a boom in business in Washington (tons of ports) and Texas, which also have a lot of open ports. I'm also thinking there will be some minor expansions of the East coast due to the start up/timelag needed by the bigger CA companies to relocate.
