Although the aircraft will not takeoff and land from Grayling (due to munitions storage requirements) they will be going to and from the live ordinance ranges at Grayling. As it stands right now, players will get to go to at least one FRAGO directly overlooking the impact area--A safe distance away. Some of the aircraft schedule to be flying include:
B1 Lancer
A-10 Warthog
AH-64 Apache

Is this FRAGO open to everyone or is there something seperate that has to be signed up for? Watching an air strike sounds kick ass for an airsoft game. Lion Claws's APCs and Humvees don't have anything on Blacksheep.

FRAGOs are open to everyone attending the OP. You will get to rotate at least once through a FRAGO depending on the timing (aircraft will likely not be doing night bombing.)

I miss the signature whine of A-10's overhead, no sound like it on any other airframe.

I don't miss them so much as to want to hear them fly over my house daily, I would probably grow to hate them if that was the case. I love me some peace and quiet. But man flying things are cool, especially if they make things go boom.

Seen all sorts of craft fly over my house and the golf course over the years. In my younger days I liked to imagine that they were traveling to destroy/takeover the local race track that keeps the weekends noisy.
About two weeks ago I worked an outing that was held for some artillery regiment (I didn't get to see which one). The younger active duty folks chewing the fat on the patio near where I was pulling cable off a spool talked about various matters that seemed to be hinting their involvement at Grayling, but they never said the location directly (and I did not get to ask them/did not want to bother them). They got really excited about target selection, in particular a bus they wanted to blow up.
