I'm looking into hosting my first game on my families property. (UNTIL THIS IN CONFIRMED, I'M ASKING MODS NOT TO MOVE THIS)
The game will run from 10-5 and conclude in a local raid on fast food joints, if you're so interested.
Rule 1) We will be following all MIA rules and specifications.
Rule 2) ANYONE CAUGHT ON THE FIELD WITHOUT ANSI RATED GOGGLES OR ENTERING TREE BLINDS WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM MY FIELD. No warnings will be issued. I'm not here to play around with your safety ( or mine and my families). This isn't a money making thing for me. I just want a safe and fun game without any injuries to show my parents airsoft can be played safely.
Rule 3) No climbing trees or anything of the sort. See #2.
Rule 4) No Alcohol, Tobacco, any non-prescribed drug is allowed at my field. OTC meds and prescriptions are approved. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CARRY YOUR EPI's WHERE I CAN FIND THEM. If you need to smoke, you may do so as long as you drown out your butt and then stow it on yourself.
Rule 5) Orange tips are required, as this is hunting land. I will have orange duct tape available for community use.
Rule 6) Hydration is required. Be it Nalgene or bladder, bring it.
Rule 7) 18+ only.
COST: Free. Donations for a chronograph graciously accepted.
Where:
5689 Harper Rd.
Holt, MI 48842. (Yes it is a dirt driveway.)
Show up: 10.00
Lock and load/introduction: 10.30
Segment 1: 10.45 - 12.00
Break for snacks
Segment 2: 12.30 - 2.00
Segment 3: 2.15 - 3.30
Segment 4: 3.45 - 5.00
Conclusion and thoughts/food raid: 5.00-?
Part our ways until next time.
Notes on the field: You're outside. Bring bug spray and look up what poison ivy looks like BEFORE you hit the field.
Our wooded section (roughly 22 acres) is wet, muddy, dirty and hilly. It should be great. All blinds (ground and tree) are off limits.
The fields are currently planted in. They're all off limits unless you want to explain to the MIA community why I can no longer host games.
This field is also totally undeveloped. Poor college student + buying materials = no.
As a side note, my parents are very conservative, very religious people. They are very nice and graciously allowing us to use the property THEY paid for to play on. As hard as it will be, please refrain from swearing as much as you can, at least while we're by the staging area/house.
Let me know if this date works for you. I have REQUESTED the day off from work, but pending their decision if I get it or not will decide if this game happens. Oh, and the weather too.
Please let me know if you're interested.
