What should I start with... Today was immensely better than last time, 85% to it not being super humid and a hundred degrees. 14% was some incredible gameplay. And the remaining 1% due to homo-erotic sarcasm with The Suicide Kings. The. Night game was awesome, probably my favorite part of the day and I am glad I stayed. Green was well on our way to placing the bomb till a group of tan guys came across us. There was some confusion as to whether or not they were alive, and then fire was exchanged for a shirt few seconds.....a lot of fire..and green prevailed. Myself, Gabriel and two others then proceeded to get the bomb ON THE ISLAND only to hear Pagan blow the game whistle as we were about to place it for the win. The 300 games were pretty fun too. The defenders actually almost won one today..until the attacking force finally got an in and ran them over. Pistol games on the speedball courses were a Good change of pace for some "we need to kill some time but not enough time for a whole big game". Now let's see the pictures!!!!

Was an awesome day, got to sling some plastic and meet some new people. Im definitely glad I recommended pistol only speedball to pagan, because it was a whole lot of fun(Even though I tore up my arms pretty badly with all my "Tactical Sliding") I definitely think we should at leist throw in one or two speedball matches at every event just because they are fast, and a ton of fun. Only complaint really was just the amount of "Night Game" we were actually able to play, It just felt like by the time it actually got completely dark, Pagan was yelling on the megaphone with the ten minute warning. Also, the idea of going around the castle by cutting through the parking lot was a cool idea.. Until actually put into practice, I dont think I need to explain why.. None the less, it was a really great game (minus the rain early in the day, but wasn't to bad) and I cant wait to see some pictures.

I want to say thanks to Pagan the Suicide Kings who put on a great day of airsoft! This was my younger brother's first airsoft event and he had a blast, you guys probably saw him running around in a Hawaiian shirt. The only problem I had was that someone on the island in the first 300 game had a pretty hot gun and broken skin on my neck from a good 100ft away. This however, seemed to be taken care of very quickly and everyone had very good sportsmanship today. All of the different game styles we played were fantastic and the reffing was on point. Again this rec. game was awesome and will be out again on august third!
Great job Suicide Kings!

I had a great time. Thanks to Pagan and the rest of the guys for putting it on.
It was good seeing some old faces and meeting some new ones.
My only complaint comes from the first 300 game. The amount of "ceasefire!" "Un-cease fire" that came from what seemed to be escorting out/hit players across the bridge was far too excessive IMO. It really disrupted the gameplay for a lot of us/those not in the vicinity of the escort. I just didnt think the escorting was necessary at all to be honest.

Excellent game! Refs were attentive at all times and I didn't hear about any hit calling.
One guy was shooting inside his engagement limit at the first bomb game, but hopefully that won't be a repeat offense. It could also be because - and this is speculation - one of the chronos was bad. They chronoed my Combat Machine at 300 fps. At Hells Survivors and also at other No Limits games, I was chronoed at 368. I'm not a tech so correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't see losing 68fps by sitting in a gun bag for a few weeks.
My biggest issue however happened when I was in the castle at the right side door. A player shot me from outside the castle, through the crack in the corner(which we were clearly told NOT to do during briefing). The first hit was in the mask, but I KNEW from where I was sitting that there was NO WAY it came from the bridge direction as I was completely behind cover, dealing with fogging, with at least 6 guys watching all doors, so I assumed it was ricochet and ignored it. The player, most likely angry that I didn't call his 'cheat-hit', proceeded to shoot me in the ass from 10 feet away.
Look, you're already breaking the rules, but I don't care how far or what kind of gun you're using. From 10 feet away, the only way that could've been accidental is if it was blind fire, which is also against the rules. So thanks for cheating and purposely shooting me in the ass(even though in the vest would've been really nice, but you're not so forget it).

+1 for pictures.

This may have been from a couple things. Did they put .20s in your mag to chrono? If not, and you use a differnt weight, it will throw it off. I know we had a lot of Polarstars yesterday and we had to do quite a bit of going between different bb weights. There could have been a different weight selected on the chrono. Not saying it couldn't be the chrono, I just know we tested against two other chronos through out the day and they all read within .02j of each other. User error is always possible as well.

I forgot about that. I'm usually chronoed with .20s, but yesterday I was chronoed with my own mag of .25s. Still didn't think it would affect it that much, I mean 68fps is quite a drop.

Your spring probably settled. I know you're relatively new and most combat machines settle around 330-350fps. More than likely it was a combination of that and .25's.

insert code here Springs don't settle that much. Almost 70 FPS is not a spring settling. That kind of FPS drop is more than likely a bad air seal or a torn bucking. Also, Using .25s will give about that much drop but the chronometer has to be on the .25 setting to get proper joules reading. I chrono 370 with .20s on one of my guns and yes .25s through it and it usually choose around 320 on .25s. That us the only other reason you'd egg that much change in a reading.

I had a fantastic time! Once again pagan and the SK crew delivered a wonderful game. Everyone there was very nice, and the record for very little "call your hits!" continues, as I only heard of one minor incident the entire day. I feel the atmosphere was extremely happy during the day, due to the near-perfect weather, and overall satisfaction among the people.
As for the actually game played, the objective based games, (bomb defusal/V.I.P) were a little fuzzy. However, that is to be expected from a rec game. As for the night game, I thought it was really fun, despite the fact that the entire field is a mosquito farm, and that I had to re-apply bug spray many times to stop myself from being eaten.
Overall, this type of game needs to happen more with more people.

Jeff and I had a fun afternoon/evening. The SK did a great job - the games were well-run and well structured. The teams were adjusted each game to keep things competitive, the refs payed attention to the gameplay, and folks had the right combination of effort and sportsmanship for a rec game. Even the field help up well for a day with rain (my recollection of it swamping when rain is introduced is probably a bit dated now).
I saw so many new folks that weren't playing a few years ago that I'm convinced our SE Michigan airsoft community would dwindle without periodic rec games to bring in the new players (many of our experienced players now seem to focus exclusively on the regional/national events).
We're truly thankful the SK expend the time and effort to host these games - you're keeping our community strong and providing fun trigger time for all.

What we'll try and do in the future is call less "cease fires" and start moving guys off of the island less frequently but in greater numbers. Maybe we'll try doing it in intervals.
