I hate to get everyone's hopes up only to let you down, but we are postponing the rec game for at least a couple weeks. We WILL have a game here, and very soon at that, just not this Saturday. Apologies, Wolf Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!?!?! Edit* Alright everyone here's the deal. I spoke to sniper wolf and I guess upon doing a field walk it was determined that the field is not game ready yet. Which I completely agree with. I was there a few weeks ago with Corey and warping and the field needs A LOT of work. The city is In really bad shape and some of the building no longer exist. I know everyone want to get back out to our field but its looking like it may take a bit more time. Also there is some pretty big family related things (not the same things we had in here past) that Corey is dealing with right now that I am not at liberty to discuss. But I'd like MIA to know it not just a bad field delaying things. When the time is right Corey may come and shed some light, but until then, just hang in there as we do our best to get the field up to the shape it was in years ago when we held regular games. Questions/comments/concerns can be directed to myself and Sniper Wolf in Grey Fox's absence. Fox doesn't get on here as often as the rest of us but we do keep in pretty close contact with him. |

Disappointing, but understandable.

I wasn't around when the old SFOD games were happening but I've heard enough stories to know they were top notch.

Guys I hate to do this. We have to postpone this game again. Potential reschedule date is TBD, however we are aiming fir the 17th of August weekend.
I just received word from Corey that his dad passed away this morning. I'm am speaking on behalf of him and his family to pass this to the rest of you here on MIA. We did not want you guys to think we were just jerking your chains around on this one with the complications we have run into. Corey and his family are in no position to have a game this weekend as the funeral is going to be in place of our previously scheduled game. Any questions/concerns can be sent to me directly via PM.
Again, we at SFOD are sincerely sorry for the scheduling hiccups.
Hang in there guys and we'll be back up and running in here next few weeks.

I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but the Blacksheep game at the Grayling MOUT is that potential weekend that you mentioned. A good portion of us are going to that game.

I'll pass tht to him. We are also talking about an extra week or two down the road for a full on op instead of a rec game. Lots of field work been going on at our old hillside.
