I read somewhere that baby powder will ruin/ gunk up thunder b's if put inside of them. Is this true? I don't want to test it out with mine before asking if someone else has had experience with it. Thanks!

Why would you put baby powder in a grenade designed for sound?

Why would you put baby powder in a grenade designed for sound? It would add a visual, smokey effect to the grenade

Why would you put baby powder in a grenade designed for sound? It would add a visual, smokey effect to the grenade It would also probably annoy anyone with nicer gear.

Yeah, don't do this. It might be cooler for you, but if that stuff cakes onto my foggy goggles or something, I'm going to be livid.

Okay I would only use them if the field approved of it, and baby powder comes off fairly easy unlike flour. Anyway I could still use a answer to my question if anyway has experience with it.

My friend has done this with his thunder B's before and nothing has gone wrong. Just be sure its placed in the shell not the core. It honestly doesn't have that cool of an effect because you'll need to use a good amount to get that "bang" effect out of it and it dampens it so much.

Use glitter for max annoyance. As far as I'm concerned about pissing people off, look, your in Airsoft, your gear us going to git dirty, we are putting ourselves under simulated combat scenarios, stuff is going to get destroyed, dirty, bloody, etc. If you don't understand that, don't play, simple as that, baby powder won't ruin anything and you should be washing your shit every other game anyways. It stinks after awhile, nothing is worse than dressing up for picture ms and your wife needs a nose clip to do it. At the end of the day this is a combat game, first rule of combat, never engage in a fair fight. As long as your not breaking rules. Go for it.

As Knief said, if I've been playing all day, drenched in sweat, and you set off a fucking baby powered grenade because it looks cool? I'm going to cram the grenade core up your ass. I don't give a shit about my gear, but I'm not looking to have that shit in my goggles, ears or anywhere else. I could be an asshole and use those paint marker bbs too, but I don't.

Agreed w/Pagan. If some twerp were to throw a glitter filled Thunder B at myself or any of my teammates, they really shouldn't be surprised if they don't get it back after the throw. If you've got enough foldin' money to make every Thunder B you throw a one-off, then more power to ya.

They're meant for a distraction device At most put some bbs in there As everyone else stated, I myself, along with others would be pissed getting baby powder caked to my goggles

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he does decided to put bbs in his Thunder B's does it not count as a kill or is it up to the field owners if it counts as a kill.

Its always up to the field owners, but in terms of rec games (mostly referring to the ones hosted by SK) im 99% positive pagan said it counts as a kill, but feel free to correct me if I happen to be wrong.
