Not sure what else we could do, perhaps 5 on 5 team elimination?

Not sure what else we could do, perhaps 5 on 5 team elimination? We could try that, but when it comes to team vs team kind of things, you always have to worry about someone saying someone else was cheating. I was thinking about setting up a 3 gun style course, if there's any interest.

Finding players with three guns would be more difficult than just a game style, I think. I suppose you could use the same guns, but then people will whine about it not being theirs.
Eh, I'm sure more people will sign up game day for whatever you put on.

Given the discussion, here's an idea for a game type.
I always thought this would be interesting to test. Imagine the following:
An 8 man team has to infiltrate (blank location) and rescue/kill (blank person). The team has to do this within (x amount of time) before the bomb they have to disarm goes off.
Players can sign up for the 8 man team for different time slots to take a crack at it. All remaining players will be the enemy force (all distributed throughout the field of play). Like a combat mission simulation.
The team who successfully completes all objectives and/or in the shortest amount of time wins.
Any thoughts?

This is pretty much what the HRT game is. 5 man teams have a set time limit to locate and extract a hostage from an opposing force. Quickest time wins.

Kind of an addition to what Pagan already has.
I feel like the Hostage Rescue thing is good in theory, but the biggest help that dudes in the real world have when they breach and grab high value targets is the element of surprise. It's very easy to "pretend" to be surprised, but even three dudes that have an idea a breach is imminent can easily shut up double the attacker size, based off of home turf defense alone.
I think for the hostage rescue using spray painted paper plates in specific areas of rooms to denote good guy vs. bad guy is an easy way of doing it.
Some training that we (RAGE) implement is that from the moment you breach that room, you have less than three seconds to have at least two holes in the paper plate, leave the ones we need to plug holes in blank and the ones that need to be saved green, or even make it a real person, and I think you'd be pleasantly surprised with the results there. Having maybe one proctor in every room where bad guys are placed to ensure that the plates are plugged within that timeframe, and he (proctor) didn't get directly engaged, and it would probably give you better results.
The team vs. team thing might raise some guys complaining that people don't call hits, but I feel like if we don't make it for anything other than bragging rights it shouldn't be too difficult, but if full auto is allowed then it'll turn into speedsoft, so we'd probably drop from that.
Could always do a spin off of CTF, call it "Blow up the other team's building" -- Basically each team has a brick of C4, and XX amount of guys. You have 20 minutes from the horn to either hit the other teams building hard, play defense, or split your forces 50/50, but the first person to place the C4 brick wherever the enemy team's start point is and leave the building wins. Having two mods with good comms between each other should make that one easy as pie.
