OUTDOOR/OPEN FIELD ENGAGEMENT LIMITS • 501.0 - 539.9 fps (2.33j - 2.69j) - Bolt action only • 540.0+ fps (2.7j+) - Prohibited. Thank you, Mosin Team RAGE Event Coordinator Just to make sure, an AEG in semi cannot fire over 511 FPS at any RAGE sanctioned events now, right?

Correct. There are too many mods out there that make it possible for AEG's or gas platforms to have almost no trigger pull, and then it turns into a game of paintball where you're "Technically semi" but you're still able to rip 10 rps after a can of Red Bull.
Back when the FPS limits were first released, you pretty much weren't going over 420 fps anyways unless you had a bolt action, and even then there were maybe three to five of them in the entire Airsoft community. If you ever tweaked an AEG to 500+ years back you were almost destined to have a cracked gearbox shell, burnt out motor, or stripped gears within 200 shots simply because the technology wasn't there.
I've checked the physics chart, you literally lose 10 feet of effective range and 15 feet of maximum range adding that final 50 fps on the top end, there is no reason to go that high.

The kid with the all black loadout. Somehow I didn't notice that at the event, I just felt bad for him (must've been dying in that sun). But the video clearly shows lab goggles. It's amazing no one caught that earlier.

Oh wow, did not notice that. I'll have to add it to our morning brief to have everyone take a look to the left and the right prior to game start for eyepro that doesn't meet the minimum.
Good catch, hopefully next time someone will notice that and put two and two together on field and let us know.

I was at the open play two weeks prior to this event, and that kid was wearing the same goggles. He asked the Hell's Survivors referee if that was sufficient eye protection, and the referee told him it was. I guess this is another case of the HS refs. messing us up by having a different set of rules/regulations.

Yep, no problem Mosin. What did you guys think of the video? Too boring because it doesn't have enough shooting in it? Or did you like the stealthy, slow-motion stuff?

Are you saying you had issues because three 17-year-old airsofters (GSAT) commanded a bunch of younger players in a tactical strike? Because that's pretty much what happened for most of that video.

Not a issue of age, your team had at least some tactics/coordination half of tan ran blindly around. Anyway, it was a pleasure playing against you, and I am looking forward to playing against or with you again.
