Are you sure you timed the gears and the tappet plate correctly? Usually misfires like this occur (from my experience) from mis-timings or compression. Either can stem from reassembling the gearbox wrongly.

Gear timing is a myth. The only timing control the gears have is the cam on the back of the sector gear. Since the sector gear cam and the tappet post are solidly attached and solidly oriented to the gear rack, timing cannot be adjusted. The only way to change the timing of the fire cycle is by messing with the angle of the cam. The only way to change the timing of the tappet plate relative to the piston is to move the post relative to the teeth (or vice versa, or modify the tappet). That said, the gears should be installed with the tappet post at about 1 o'clock. This way the piston isn't engaged and the post doesn't pinch the tapped between it and the gearbox shell. Install the sector gear in any position you like and the cam will always cut off the trigger at the same spot and the post will always pull back the tappet at the same time. Your problem is either compression or hop up related. You replaced the hop up unit which introduces a bunch of new potential problems. Unfortunately having your hop up on too far and bad compression can show the same symptoms. It does sound like you have a major problem as 50' is pretty short. My educated guess is that you have a compression based problem. Its a stock gearbox except for a Lonex Spring I installed myself... Did you have this exact same problem before you swapped the spring? You mention your FPS fluctuations but I'm asking if it only shot 50' before. Common problems I've seen that you should check: - Cylinder is backwards. If you have a port (hole) in it, the port should be toward the back of the gearbox and not the front. - Piston head O ring is too small or too big. The O-ring is actually a check valve (if you have a ported piston head) and if it is too big or too small you can have compression issues. - Gearbox screws are too tight and pinching the piston. Uncommon but I've seen it. - Your new hop up isn't tight enough against the nozzle which causes a compression loss. - Not enough lube in the cylinder. Rubber drags on the cylinder which causes the piston to drag. - Spring binding on the spring guide. I would check those and get back to us.

This is what I can tell you End.
-This problem occurred after I tried to see why my gun was stopping while firing on semi.
-Piston head O ring is fine no problems their.
-The hop up unit could be a possible issue.
-The rest of the possible problems aren't their/occurring.
I appreciate all of you for trying to help me out on this topic. Sorry as well for now and in advance if I'm being vague or not specific on things.
Edit: Loosened up the screws of my gearbox (not enough to make it harmful or anything like that) and know my guns shooting the 50ft and beyond that. The downsides though are some BB's flying crazy at some points and/or it dry fires. Glad I got it firing to some normality, but if anybody could tell me how to get those tweaks fixed I would be very gracious for the help.
