Just an Idea I had for a game. I was thinking today that it would be awesome to see someone work a Airsoft Milsim based on the Fallout Universe.
I was thinking something Along the lines of making a storyline where after their defeat at Hoover Dam (Fallout New Vegas) Ceasar's Legion turns their attention towards the easy, working their way through the former United States and conquering even more land, gaining more followers until they are finally on the DC Wasteland's Doorstep, which would now be several small states along the East Cost, claiming the land that was once the Virginias, Maryland, New Jersey and New York making up a population of roughly 2 million. The main military force would be lead by The Brotherhood Of Steel, who have officially abandoned their goal of protecting pre-war technology, and have made it their goal to unify the people of the Wastelands.
Objectives would be related to the Fallout Universe (ex manufacturing Rad-X and Radaway to deliver to villagers, obtaining parts to build a generator and establishing comms, etc.) Camo regs could either go the standard Green VS Tan, or what I would like to see Red VS Gray as Red is the color of Caesars Legion and Gray has been the color of the Brotherhood of steals Armour and would be the clothing color of new recruits. Speciality stuff like say a Vault 101 Jumpsuit or a leather jacket and pants for the that wastelander feel for the Brotherhood side would be acceptable as it is canon to the fallout universe.
So guys, any takers on this?

After playing the Fallout games, this would be pretty cool. It would be weird trying to get a whole team as a courier. I would definitely be interested.

What would you do for the people that don't know the back story within the Fallout Universe? Would they be restricted from participating or just be debriefed on the "situation"? I only ask because it sounds like it would be fun, but I myself have no experience with the Fallout Universe accept some nuclear war occurred in it.

Ogre, we somehow have telekinesis. I was thinking of something like this as well.
I actually talked to Mosin about it, but what I was planning to do would be way too difficult to administrate.

Those familar with the games would just get more enjoyment out of it when they are total to go raid a location for supplies of Pipboys.

Ogre, I just played a fallout based game down here in Texas a couple weekends ago. Op: Aftermath is in it's third year. Let me know if you need any help with rules and such.

What were some of the rules and objectives they had? I'm not looking at hosting on persay, I was just getting a feeler, If there is enough interest I'll start talking to fields as my peice of property would be too small for a multiday game.

Some of my team mates have some property, or so they say, that you could possibly use. I think they said they had like 30 acres or somewhere around their. I'm not good with eyeballing distances either so if its to small just say something. Also I can't speak for them though so if you decide to try and make this real shot me a PM.

It was pretty in depth. Lots of role playing and such. Here's a link to where you can find the assorted rules it followed: www.facebook.com/groups/378862072206538/

Being a huge Fallout fan myself, I'd love to see something like this take place.
Evike did a Fallout themed event that took place somewhere in New York. They had all of the rules they used on their site at one point but I can't find them anymore. From what I remember they had a level system like fallout, but instead of perks and skill points being rewarded, upgrades were. Level 1 you started with a springer pistol or shotgun with limited ammo, but as you took objectives(villages, bases, ammo dumps) and got kills, you received XP and leveled up, which allowed the team to upgrade their weapons to AEGs and Gas guns. And to get more ammo for your team, you had to secure the ammo dumps and distribute it.

This sounds like it would be awesome, plenty of different opportunities for great gameplay, as well as a chance to have a bunch of sweet props, like nuka cola bottles and such. And getting jumpsuits for an outfit would be pretty easy at any surplus store, and all it would take then is some yellow paint and some distressing to make it look pretty authentic. I'd be up for participating in a game like this for sure

If anyone does this and needs bottle caps as a prop, I have at least 500+ from a post-apocalyptic game series I did some years ago.
