I was browsing around on evike and while browsing around I stumbled upon an item that I will link down below. I was just wondering what base camo would Project Honor Camo be considered; Tan, or Green? Also would it be acceptable for Milsim's and what side would you aloud to use it on; Tan Team, or Green Team? Any and ALL information would be helpful, thank you for taking the time to read this. www.evike.com/products/46806/

It'd be fine for a rec game, but you be better buying camo that is commonly used if you want to attend milsims.

Would you happen to know what base camo this would happen to be considered though? I assume no though since you didn't say anything about base camos.

This was a curiosity question Pagan, but thanks for the information. Would you happen to know what base camo this would happen to be considered though? I assume no though since you didn't say anything about base camos. Well you assumed wrong. Seeing as I host monthly rec games that have 150+ players and have hosted more than a few milsim and scenario games, I think I'm pretty good at knowing which side a camo would be put on. Honestly, it's neither. Much like Multicam was flipped flopped for a long time ( and still is at events) it's not a solid green or tan base. This is why I said you'd be better off getting something that is actually placed on a roster at most events. Because it's a pretty even mix of both green and tan, you would have to wait until the event host chose which side it would be used for. A pattern like ATACS is sold in both tan and green versions, this comes in one. So it's not really definable as either.

Okay thank you Pagan, sorry about the assumption as well no disrespect was meant by it.

It would be up to the event host's discretion if it would be allowed and also what side. Like Pagan already mentioned you're better off going with another option that is widely accepted.

I was watching a Jet DesertFox video of Operation IRENE 2013. One of the Evike guys were wearing it, they were placed on Tan. Now, they may have been placed on that due to them being EVIKE and getting special treatment, but I would say Tan as well.

Yeah I'm pretty sure @ IRENE it's just DCU vs Woodland, so EVIKE definitely got special treatment....

Figured, but I wasn't sure, it was probably a promotional thing

I find this disappointing as I was looking forward to getting a full PHC loadout since I kinda already like the look of the Plate Carrier.

Well according to someone in the Facebook comment section of the item the makers have a website where you can get everything in PHC. Edit: Took a look at what they have and it's not much, but holy crap is it a ton of money for the stuff.

I've seen a lot of information out there about the load bearing equipment falling apart under use. Remember guys, this stuff wasn't designed to be used, it's designed to be sold to collectors and those who want to help the charity. The camo wasn't designed with the rigor and research of a real camouflage pattern and it won't work as well to hide you as one. LBX and Project Honor stuff probably isn't a good option for highly function gear because it wasn't designed with functionality as the primary concern.

The stuff is to raise money for charity and marketed mainly to airsofters, who will use and abuse it. Thats one hell of a business model there.

Thanks for the information on that Knief.
