Because this is Russian thread. Keep you kraut stuff in a kraut thread. Since we now know you're out there, its time for our own little Einigkeit! This is, as the title suggests, going to be a home for all the H&Ks and Flecktarn to frolic freely! (von Trapp style) So, without further ado, I shall kick things off. My stuff is a serious work-in-progress, as I've spent most of my efforts ensuring that my mainstay coyote brown battle rattle is in perfect order. I have chosen to loosely follow the Fallschirmjäger EGB-Kräfte kit, which includes a wide mixture of gear color and orientation. The research I've done indicates that in the Fallschirmjäger batallions a lot of the equipment ends up being personal purchase. This means anything from Flecktarn to Tropentarn to Multicam to Black to Green to Khaki to whateverthefuckelse. A lot of the gear wank for my loadout comes from two videos that come directly from the Bundeswehr's Youtube Channel. So, the gear. I've gone with, which appears in both videos, is a Polish (Doctor Mervin) made replica of the gen. 3 Lindnerhof Taktik plate carrier. I've also gone with, as depicted, a MICH2001 helmet. I do not have any NV mount, as the videos and photos I've seen show that they will actually not wear the NV mounts if they aren't planning to even use NV, and they use the LUCIE night vision system, which has it's own proprietary mounts. A repro of the mount can be had from a Ukrainian company, but I have yet to order it. I also have yet to order any pouches. Most of the repro's I've seen look lame and disgusting, and I have yet to pull the trigger on a Lindnerhof order. As I update and begin to advance the kit, I shall continue to update this thread. In the meantime, all you other Fleck-tards come out of the woodwork and post your Deutsche Scheiße right here!

Very nice so far, great thread idea as well. If you have yet to see my baby you can look below, I have a friend who's working on a custom G36 M4 Magwell, will post when finished. Anyway I recommend anyone who needs info or help with any German Impression join the German Impression Gallery on Facebook, its a huge well of knowledge and can be found here. I plan to get some flecktarn soon and go from there. This pic is a tad dated as I swapped out proprietary mags for K120's

That's a gnarly looking helmet, Relarz. Did that used to be Roughneck's? I vaguely remember seeing it in a picture from awhile ago.

That is indeed the breed. My brother traded his 2000 for it, and then when he moved on to Opscore lids, I scooped it.

Not worth my time. It would appear that they don't really proliferate the Bundeswehr that much. I don't even see the original IDZ vests that much anymore.

Ah, I always just knew of it as the KSK Rail. My goal is for my kit is more-FJ based, which means standard carry handle with the short rail atop the scope. G36KA1/A2

From what I've read the IDZ stock is something that H&K seems to try to be pushing for it's new generation of G36s. Along with that full length rail that has the oval slits cut in for weight (rather then the more common circles) and a AR15 magwell conversion straight from the factory.
I am alittle funny in that I like the IDZ stock on my G36K RIS but don't like the accompanying KSK rail and prefer the standalone scope with a red dor top mounted of my choice.
On a side note does anyone know how they mount those ELM01 units to the side of the scoped carry handle? I know I remenber seeing one mounted there instead of on the RIS.
Which Relarz in the video you posted how are those vertical grips mounted to those handguards? I know the ELM01 was designed to mount on the weird bottom rail but I've never known really anything else.

You can still get all the standard G36 goodies on the new HK 243.

One thing I've never understood though. Why is it with the magazine conversions that they're never able to retain that the ambidexterous nature of the release. Not only do they not have the AK style but since it's not a true AR15 magwell you can't even get their form of a ambi release. It doesn't seem like it would be that complicated for them to have something rigged up for a AK release.
On a side note I just did the math and it looks like I still got about another 150$ to go to make that chest rig complete.
4x multicalibure mag pouches 1 1.15 lt hyrdo carrier 1 pistol mag pouch 1 fold up dump pouch
LHT makes a radio pouch too but it doesn't come in flecktarn (only olive or tan) so I'm just going to use my current single magazine pouch to hold the ICOM4011.

Punch it out and run some of it thru a mill/dremel and you can fit an ambi AR mag release in there.

It's not an MG42. It's a Rheinmetall MG3. Very much based on the MG42, but slight differences and it's chambered in 7.62 NATO.

I feel your pain. A buddy is working on a ambidextrous version based on the SPHUR G36 Stang conversion and the Masada's mag release Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using proboards
