Just roll without one for awhile. People will give you one that's fitting to your playstyle. I called myself Rabbit, after the spec ops operator in Medal of Honor. It eventually got changed to Ogre due to my playstyle and online personality. I like it a lot more than Rabbit, I think it's more meaningful.
To me, a call sign is like a nickname, it doesn't mean anything if it isn't given to you. In my team we really don't let players pick their call signs. I think that's the best way of getting a good one.

I have gone by two names over the years.
Trust and Deacon. Deacon is my latest incarnation about 2 years old now? People still call me Trust.
In the end it's how you're known and by whom.
Hockey - Stick.

I won't be playing MILSIM all the time anyway, and as far as I'm concerned, that's the only situation when you really need a call sign. I'll just take my name patches off(besides the one with my first initial and my last name on it) and see where it takes me. For this summer I'm planning on airsoft-ing every weekend if possible, or every 2 weekends at least, so the regulars at whichever field I play at should end up calling me something. I just don't want to be "Tall Guy", because that's what I got last time I played at Futureball, and I think it's stupid, considering I'm not especially tall enough for it to warrant a nickname. I mean, I'm just 6'01", isn't that pretty standard?

I'm gonna call you Quebecois. How does that sound? I don't know what kind of research you did to find that out, but I find that OFFENSIVE. Just kidding, but I am most certainly NOT Quebecois and where I'm from, we don't like to be compared to them. Different culture, dialect, manners(we have them, a lot of them don't), etc. I used to think these things were just stereotypical judgements, but 90% of people from Quebec that I've personally met are just not people I want to be around. /RANT This^^^ I like that idea. THE ULTIMATE CAMOUFLAGE! "Hey, is that a guy over there?" "Nah, that's just a tree." "But this is an indoor facility!" "It's a damn tree! LOOK AT IT!" PS: To keep on the spongebob related things, let me just add that when I said "LOOK AT IT", I meant for it to come out like this;

I only went with it because you specified French-Canadian, and I study German. French would still be my next nickname for you, just working with what your sig gives me.

I formerly worked in a group at GM that followed up with warranty claims on vehicles and looked for trends in repairs or misdiagnosis. I had to call dealerships in Quebec on occasion. They were hands down the rudest, most uncooperative, sorry excuse for human beings I have ever had the displeasure of talking to.

I was the tree being referred to. It was one of the younger players there at the time, and it was in the staging area as well. But yeah, I wasn't wearing anything (In my opinion) that represented a tree...

Kids say the darnedest things, don't they? Way back in the day, Oakey called me "Relish" and that somehow stuck. I mostly go by Rel or Relarz, but some people still bring up the Relish card.

French would still be my next nickname for you, just working with what your sig gives me. That sound alright! I'll just keep mentioning at games that I'm french until someone starts yelling it out haha However I wouldn't want people to think I'm from France, because there's a huge distinction there. Honestly, the fact he states he plays guitar makes me want to call him Dimebag. I love Pantera. Pantera is pretty awesome, and I do have a small chin beard thing going on(which pales in comparison to Dime's), but my response to that is; I formerly worked in a group at GM that followed up with warranty claims on vehicles and looked for trends in repairs or misdiagnosis. I had to call dealerships in Quebec on occasion. They were hands down the rudest, most uncooperative, sorry excuse for human beings I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. Thank you for supporting my argument! From what I can tell, people from Quebec have a general, unjustified dislike for Americans(somewhat similar to Southerners disliking us 'Yankees'), but they seem to think that any French Canadian are their friends. I would rather be disliked by them than befriended, because they are not tolerable, even as friends, and it hurts my brain to try and understand their dialect of French. I just thought of something, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good, reputable place that makes custom name tapes? And for a decent price? I purchased my name tapes from OMLPatches, but they're located in Ontario and I would rather buy U.S. if I can.

Megladon? By the way, I noticed that you stated that you play(ed) at Futureball. Something tells me that I know you. Everyone on my team got their name because of something they like or the way they acted. My family has honeybee hives, so people started calling me "Stinger." I also have a bit of a hit-and-run playstyle with fast and hard action. The first airsoft gun I ever fired was also a Crosman Stinger pistol. "Killer" occasionally acts slightly psycotic and has a tendency to do some crazy things on the battlefield, in addition to being a substantially deadly force. On the other hand, it can be something as my brother's name, "Shadow." A long time ago, he liked the game "Shadow the Hedgehog." So...why not, ya know? Haha
Like everyone else said, just wait for someone to give you a name.
