Hello airsofters!
I was seeking the opinion of someone more experienced than myself on these 2 rifles. Which one is better in which way?
Thanks, Magnus

Combat machine, hands down. if you read through any of the "new to sport, which gun/which gear should I get" threads, you'll see that the CM is always recommended. The JG m4 S-system is a cheaply made gun, and because of that you'll receive cheap performance and durability out of it. If G&G puts their name on something, it is going to be a good gun. Hell, some of the first generation G&G CM's are still up and kicking without much internal work done at all.
Go with the Combat machine and you won't be disappointed.

I've ran both, the S-Systems rate of fire will blow the G&G's out of the water, but every single other possible trait is all G&G. Especially the reliability. That's why I recomend the G&G. The S-System literally melted down right at 6000rds. The G&G is still going strong after 10,000rds, and has never even been opened up for a lubing.

Well since this is about my guns I'm gonna comment , Hound is right about the rate of fire with the s-system. I am personally a huge fan of G&G they are some of the best guns out there.

JG S-systems have their high torque motor which is much better than a standard G&G Motor. JG S-systems also have a standard brass barrel, not a crap aluminum one G&G comes with. Externals they're both pretty meh in my opinion. JG S-systems (plastic versions) having the crappy tabs on the upper and the proprietary upper. Not to mention the 2 piece hop up. G&G Receivers are real nice, but depending on what you get their front end can be real iffy. Tons of small screws and what not. With blowback their uppers are proprietary as well. I'd personally suggest a King Arms M933, which is in the same price range.

I've owned both a G&G CM and JG S-S and put a lot of rounds through them.
Like everyone else said, G&G hands down!
I love JG guns, but the proprietary externals are a huge pain on the S-System. After ≈100k rounds the spring guide that holds the stock on stripped out, and again at ≈180k. Plastic receiver slowly fell apart after opening it several times.
CM is only ≈60k in, no problems so far and G&Gs plastic receivers are amazing as long as you don't abuse or fall on them. I haven't bothered to open it up.
The two/three(one was a replacement) KA M4s I owned all came DOA (maybe shitty Evike's fault more than KA, unknown). They have a locking fake bolt plate which is annoying as hell for disassembly. The receivers are cheap cast aluminium with crummy paint. The non-aluminum parts rust faster than I can clean them. The M&P15T has a fantastic ris comparable to the real one in quality, but I don't think KA produces them. Internals are comparable to JG. Overall, not worth the cost in my opinion. Seem to be lacking any sort of QC.

To be clear the KA M933 I'm referring to is this www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=11565 it does not have the pain in the butt bolt plate (I too have dealt with that devil)and instead of the "cheap aluminium" you refer to also has a set of nice plastic receivers (I liked mine a fair bit more than CMs)and hey! Colt trades fufu, but I really loved the KA Sportline I had and considering it's at same price as the lowest priced G&G CMs I'd choose the KA Sportline.

Fair enough; I've never used their sportline and have a bone to pick with them about all the trouble their other M4s gave me, so I'm far from a non-bias source about them.

It's pretty ridiculous what you can get nowadays for very little cash.
I'd trust a G&G CM over a JG pretty much any day of the week. The JG might be a great gun for someone who likes to tinker or who has the time to tear down rifles, but a CM will be reliable out of the box.
