Hey guys buying a G3 when I get my paycheck what type of magazine pouches would you guys recommended (I run a tan plate carrier so tan is the color)

The G3 uses a 7.62mm round, so I'd look into mags that can hold M14 mags. As for a specific pouch, it depends on a lot a variables: Brand, play style, mag pouch capacity, etc.

I've used these for my old JG G3. They were very good, although you'll need a few of them to have enough ammo. The good news is they can double stack. www.evike.com/products/34871/Also, if you plan to get midcaps, avoid the King Arms ones. Get the JG 70 or 140 rounders.

That's the same type I originally used for my M14. Not bad at all, and cheap, a little too much exposure for the magazines though IMO. Most closed top options I've seen were closer to $30 for two mags.

I don't know how close airsoft G3 mags mimic real ones, but not all M14/7.62 mag pouches will fit real G3 mags; it's hit or miss with real ones since they can be too tight. Maybe something worth considering if your airsoft mag is as big as real ones.
