The OCAA stands for the Ogemaw County Airsoft Association. We have existed for several years, forming back in the winter of 2011, with the main purpose of hosting games in our neck of the woods, as nothing much really comes to the Northern Michigan area. ( By Northern Michigan I mean this area.) We are looking to expand re recruit players from all of over Northern Michigan. We are a pretty laid back group of players, located mainly in the West Branch, Rose City Area. The OCAA consists of multiple teams that all play together. We mostly attending Northern Michigan games but we occasionally travel downstate for Milsim and CQB. I know teams up here are pretty far and few in between so if you wish to join one. Now is a good time. We will recruit anyone 15+ as long as they are responsible Airsoft Players. REQUIREMENTS:Camo: Green based Camo. I recommend Marpat, A TACS-FG, Cadpat or Multicam. Note* If you choose Multicam you must have another set of green based camo. Weapon System: We don't have an official weapon system, however we do recommend M4/M16, AK, or G36 based systems for mag compatibility. Gear: Proper eye protection and a way to carry water on the field is required. Other than that, we don't care what gear you have, were not here to look good, just to kick ass You must be able to attend occasional OCAA meetings. These meetings will be to discuss anything from group orders, event hosting, carpooling or to discuss a group recreational trip such as going to a concert. You must have transportation to and from OCAA events. OCAA members must have (OCAA) after their forum name, this is not require for call signs on your uniform/gear. When signing up for the OCAA please include the following. NameFirst/last/CallSign Age - Location- Camo- Experience- Weapon- Gear- Special Personality Traits you'd like us to know - Current Team Roster Ogre SirSlippy Cardinal Chewy Ares Copper Slendy Zigi Muskrat Jaro Chris Campbell Batman Khaos

Ive had a couple people ask me this in the past few months so I figured Id ask you, what individual teams comprise the OCAA? Ill be doing a MAP update soon and Id like to include them and clear up some of the confusion.

Hey Ogre. Just showing you that there's more of us up here NAME - Jared Robbins CALLSIGN - Jaro (non-official) AGE - 20 LOCATION - Grayling Township (or just Grayling in general), Eastern Crawford County MI COLOR - Definitely woodland EXPERIENCE - On a paintball team (4 years), OP: Jackal IV was my first legitimate airsoft game. Backyard stuff not included WEAPON - Later model CYMA AK, King Arms Galil SAR. No pistol as of yet, but that will change. GEAR - Basic chest rig; no specific loadout; I usually buy and wear things for an eastern guerilla type setup. SPECIALITIES - I'm frickin bald. No really. I don't change my forum avatar because it looks exactly like me. Nah I'm joking, just lazy. It's some genetic disorder type shit, but it's intimidating! My head can be used as a signal mirror if need be. I live closer to the center of the state, which is virgin territory in terms of dedicated airsofting, so I might be able to pull in some new people if I can. I'm VERY good with graphic design and illustration type stuff, so if you need some advertising banners/flyers/patch designs for future OPs, shoot me a PM. I would like to be at least somewhat affiliated with a team like the OCAA so I can fall in or tag along with an actual group. NOTE: I'm living downstate for college in the fall-winters of 2014 and 2015, but if all goes well with my dad's job, I'll be spending summers in Grayling. I've also got my 14.5-year old brother, a 15-year old friend, and a 20-year old best friend on the airsoft scene to some degree. Next year, I might be able to prompt them to come to your events (noobs cough cough) All in all, it's great to see such a cool sport springing up in the backwoods. I came to Jackal IV expecting a glorified backyard free-for-all, but it proved to be much more engaging and exciting than I expected! I can't wait to play more, and learn from established* players such as yourselves. *established meaning more experience to airsoft than myself. I'm newer, but not a newbie. If that makes any sense
