Hey guys, I recently picked up a KWA G19 to sorta replace the KSC G17 but I'd like to still keep using my larger 17 mags. Now I already know the magazine itself fits smoothly and functions fine but that little exposed part bugs me. I know KSC used to make a adapter to fit over the mag to cover that up. www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=2724But they seem to be discontinued and out of stock everywhere. Would a real steel equivalant in the form of this fit the KSC mags? www.rockyourglock.com/custom/XGGL19-23.htmI know these things are kinda hit or miss, just curious if anyone has any experience with it. |

I'm sure it would or you could most likely modify it with some filing to fit. I'd probably see if somewhere local has one like Gander Mountain or something and try it out. I'd probably still order them online though, my real steel SR9c extensions for extended magazines are like $5 online vs. $15 at Gander Mountain. WGC Shop has them in stock apparently.(though they're for TM/KJW G19/23 I think they'd still work again most likely with some filing) |

Ok I'll try one of those gunstores I see on Gratiot. Bring the magazine with me for fitting.
I don't think however that those Guarder ones would work even after filling. The Guarders seem to have a slopping ledge while the KSCs have a rather sharp tall edge. Maybe if the real steel ones don't work I'll give them a shot. Also trying to get in touch with KSC itself to see if by chance they may have some laying around their warehouse.

The real ones seem pretty close to the Guarder ones, so either way it'll probably be similar. So going with the cheaper route would probably be best. I found these on Evike for WE style, but same problem as the Guarder ones. At $6.40 though, they're better then diving into real ones at double the price. Then again, if you look at the WE one you can see that sharp tall edge going on the bottom behind the magazines base-plate. So possibly the Guarder one would just have a slight gap behind the base-plate because it doesn't have anything to go behind it. (UNcompany could have had it flipped the wrong way for the picture). |

Potentially thanks for looking deeper into it. Alittle frustrated as to why KSC ever discountinued them to begin with. It's not like they're not still selling glocks overseas and they still make the adapters for the super compact framed pistols.

I'd have to assume that since they still produce the KSC G26c and that it comes stock with the larger mag and adapter, they kept it going for them. That or they aren't as popular as 17/18c/19's so they had an abundance of them that haven't really sold through yet maybe? They still produce the KSC G23F though, so not sure what they would stop making them. |
