Looks like I'll be going to this one. I have been watching the Facebook page and waiting for as much info as I can come across.
It seams like they never lay out all the info in one place and if they do it's wrong half of it. Hopefully the registration page is layed out. The rest I'll find out I'm sure as I go.

Via Facebook update from John Lu:
Alumni Squads may request for a pre-reg LINK (everything is automated) to gbrothers@olcmss.com on Mar. 8th. Remember Alumni vs. Non-alumni pre-reg squad 1:1 ratio strictly enforced due to limited engagement.
Here's HOW IT WORKS....as long as your men/women have the SAME TEAM AFFILIATION AS YOU, YOU will ALL be place in the SAME UNIT. So, if there are 38+all wanting to play together, USE ONE TEAM AFFILIATION instead of several different individual team names. Example...Fox Platoon...California Platoon....something that group ALL of you together.
Squad Reg. is 12-man squad, and thing over it won't accept. So, you have 13 guys, have the 13th guy sign up later and we'll put him in your squad, NOT AN ISSUE.
PAYMENT: You can sign up all the way through and it'll take you to Paypal. You can pay in ONE LUMP SUM. Or you can have everyone register individually or have them PAY via BALANCE PAYMENT DUE link. System works, many have done it with RSE and RSWest.
Cap is 250 pax. System will only allow in 125 per side. I'm out of the office on Mar. 8 (New Horizon) and 9th.
General Reg. opens Mar. 16th.
Who is going for sure? I would like to reg with you guys. he said no less than six.
Lohn LU"Don't do it now. He'll delete it. Pls follow SOP, contact him on the 8th if you are an Alumni Squad of six pax or more. No individuals."
Me and the wife will be going down day before to get settled in the hotel etc.

I definitly want to go, but I'm not an alumni, also if the price is too high I won't be able to make it. And I haven't had a chance to check the site, I've seen the facebook comments so far, but I take it there won't be camping space?

Going, and yes from what I read or Greg says on his video there will be "quiet" camping.
Now I have to get around to booking a hotel room and gathering gear again. Depending on the side I (we) end up playing on.

Well if I can camp on site that would save me a whole lot of hassle and I would most definitly be able to go. I was looking into finding camp sites near the AO but didn't have much luck, so if I could camp on site that would really help out for me
Edit: also, if any one else is planning on going and camping on site and would want to carpool we could work something out. I've got a tent that can fit 3 comfortably with our gear in a car, maybe even 4 if you don't mind being kinda cramped

I haven't seen a real confirmation on tent camping yet. I believe what he said was there was a possibility of quiet tent camping.

Hotels in the area are priced at $65 and $77 per night. You split that with 3 others, and you have a good deal going.

Yep just looked around a bit and for 3 adults for a 2 night stay its $68 a night, which isn't bad split 3 ways, and it would be better than camping because I would have access to electricity. So if anyone that is thinking of going to this event and wants to carpool/split the cost of a hotel I'm definitely up for it.
Edit: also for everyone that is going, what side will everyone be registering on? I personally want to be on green because I already own woodland marpat, but if there is a general consensus to be on tan I can easily just get some tan colored bdus, or if the vote is to be on green with m81 I can just as easily get that color camo also. Just a thought, probably needs to be considered before registration.

Like already mentioned camping hasn't been verified. At least as of last night. They are still working out the terms of the contract with the Ohio DOC. Either way hotels are cheap when split a few ways. Also look into hotels in Marysville, Ohio and not Delaware. Technically the AO is closer to Marysville than Delaware. Based on my online search, hotel rates are also cheaper in Marysville compared to Delaware Ohio. EDIT: And yes the general agreement is that we are rolling green for this event. It works for the majority since we all have woodland from the last two LC events in Michigan and Mike "Bubba" Moore is commanding the Russian Renegade team. And we like "Bubba" a lot.
