I'm interested in this Op for I.S.A.F. For radio requirements, can you use a normal 14 channel two way, or are sub channels recommended? This would be my team's first milsim and MiA event.

Radio frequencies (Channels listed in their order are concurrent with the over the counter radios)
1) Ref/admin/game start/announcement channel 2) Team 1 - SEAL General chat 3) Team 1 - SEAL Team Alpha 4) Team 1 - SEAL Team Bravo 5) Team 2 - OPFOR General chat 6) Team 2 - OPFOR Team 1 7) Team 2 - OPFOR Team 2
* Warning - Channels 8-14 are short range FRS, recommended for squad level comms only *
8) Team 2 - SEAL Team Charlie 9) Team 2 - SEAL Team Delta 10) Team 2 - Additional SEAL channel 11) Team 1 - OPFOR Team 3 12) Team 1 - OPFOR Team 4 13) Team 1 - Additional OPFOR channel
iCom only below: 14) freq:467.750) - SEAL Team iCOM Only 15) freq:467.775) - OPFOR iCOM Only 16) freq:468.000) Ref iCOM Only (Secondary)
With radio frequencies, as with hit calling. There will be no warning, if you are caught messing around on enemy freqs in game you will be removed from the game without refund. Kudos to X for coming up with the above frequency list.

I'll try to get as many immortal as possible, it's our team event for the month now. I'm definitely attending on the seal side.

Whenever you can avoid it, never use subchannels. Make sure you always have that set to "0". I don't know if you know how the whole sub-channel (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System, CTCSS) works, but if you do you will know why I have just stated what I did. If you don't, I can elaborate in a PM if you would like.

It's been my experience that just because you are a major event host, who has run MANY games over the years, or have been in the military, or have simply played in several milsim games over the years, it doesn't make you an expert on radios. It was actually X and I that set Lion Claws straight on radio frequencies for Northern Light after they released what was a comical matrix of frequencies (which also included the use of sub-channels). I wouldn't consider us experts on radios either, but we have done our research to be smarter than the average bear.

To my knowledge Hell Survivors will have HPA there (As they do for paintball, anyways). Gentledudes, please start sending in those prepayments! We're still about 15 registration prepayments shy of locking the field. My VFW Post 1370 is planning on bringing somewhere between 2- amount of people. Actual Vietnam war Vets and Iraq and Desert Storms running around trying airsoft for the first time, please show them a good time on field as well as the ropes. I'm sure they'd love to tag along with the youngsters As far as their team is concerned I'm unsure of exactly where they're going to be just yet. With the above being said, anyone wearing Military rank/insignia/patches/tabs/designators will be asked to leave this event, sans refund, and you will be blacklisted from RAGE events in the future.
