I'd agree with X on this one, you would be better just buying a really good primary. Plus, I almost never use my pistol on the field. I'd get a good mid-length gun then install a tbb, good hop-up, and bucking to give you the range you'd want for indoors and outdoors. Throw in the tightbore for sure, and consider r-hopping as well. I'm not sure if you know much about them, but it is one of the main methods people use to get more range.

They are designed to be more tolerant of the fantastic Michigan weather, and just the cold in general. This is actually what I'm going to put mk18 soon.

The IR-hop is what I have in my KWA and it does awesome! The last game I played in I was outranging the other team's sniper. Just for reference, my KWA shoots somewhere in the 390's.

I'd sell both. Bar 10 will cost you a lot of money to get it working really well and from first hand experience I think the mp9 is garbage. Then explore your options, and try and determine your play style. Then make purchases accordingly .

I too been away for a few years (overseas). My bones are getting older, and my mind isn't as sharp as it use to be. I see things go bump in the night (typically it's just me walking into the wall) and I've been considering taking the little blue pill. Should I talk to Dr. Ruth, and replace my KJW m700? It just hasn't had that much action in a few years. Do you think it'll perform as well as it once did, or do they have a pill for that too? <grin>
Use what you got first. If it doesn't work out, then replace it or upgrade it. You may decide to stay out of airsoft for the same reasons you stopped playing.

I would trade both of them for an aeg, due to how cold it can get in michigan and gas isnt the best unless its indoors or warm outside.

That's going to depend, Allen. Do you think any other rifle will be as good of a pole vault?

Funny you say that Jeff. My shoulder still hurts from that! Darn ACL. And each time it gives me some pain, I still think of that day... and you shooting me in the Ass after I pole vaulted!! B^$t@&%! And Ranger98, I don't have any troubles with my gas rifle in the winter. If it's cold enough to play, I use my rifle. Always have, always will. Don't believe me, just ask anyone else who knows me. My rifle KJW M700 will still shoot 400+ fps in 20 degree weather. ..Yes some of us old timers have a few secrets.

It was just sitting there, begging for it. And I didn't know you were hurt, just thought you took a spill. I still feel a little bad about that.

It's all good. I still remember the shear panic in their eyes... they just froze with fear when I charged them, and maybe pissed themselves too.
To All newbies! Beware of Knief, he'll shoot you in the ass when you least expect it! Or maybe I'll jump out of the bush charging at you with a sniper rifle....SkyWookie style!

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and suggest anything KWA. I know people are going to be like "Oh is proprietary". The truth of the matter is so what. Despite the hate IMO they are incredibly strong runners and perform exceptionally well. It's above your budget but the only thing I ever had break was the hop up and it was my fault.
