Seems like a lot of people these days has multiple guns, both side arms and main. Just type what weapons you have and when/why you use them.
Main: -JG AK74u: because it is so compact, I like to use it in CQB and when I'm fighting in the woods. Less worry about getting it snagged on something. The 74u is very light which helps during long days out in the field during mil sims or just long games in general. Another huge plus is the gun is so well built and the range is good, it is my main weapon I use. Not a gun to use when I need to snip the enemy from far away. Very attached to it because it is my first real airsoft gun.
-A&K M60VN: main use is when I have to defend a target or need to keep the enemy pinned down for X amount of time. Don't like to use it in thick woods or CQB because it is so long and awkward. Range is very good and nice clustering. Adjustable ROF is nice. And the nut sack can hold 2500 rounds means less reloading time. When it's time to reload, just open the cover, dump bag and it's done!
-CYMA 050 (AK47): by far, this weapon has the best range out of all of my AEGs. Even though I don't like forward grips, this is the only weapon with a forward grip I like. Feels natural. Mostly used on missions when I need to pick off the enemy from father away.
-JG G3: to be honest, I only used it once to test fire it. It was originally for a girl I was with who wanted to start playing as a sniper but shit hit the fan, went our ways and I was left with this. Still a great looking gun which needs to be fixed. Might be a good weapon for sharpshooting after its fixed with that bi pod built in.
-Dboys SCAR L: might not have the greatest ROF but has very good range and great groupings. Got this because I love how this weapon looks, the stock is foldable and all of the cool toys I can bolt onto it. Something nice to use when I feel more... Modern. Use is for everything, indoor and outdoor. Just a simple flip of a button, I can go from sniping to CQB in no time.
-A&K SVD (spring): super simple weapon to use and fix. Great back up weapon if my AEGs die in the field. Got it for $50 used which is a steal. Great range and groupings but because it is a spring, need to pull back the bolt a special way or the gun will jam up.
Side arms: -WE 1911: sucker for 1911s. so sexy and feels great in my hand.
-WE M9: got it basically for free. Loaner gun.
-JG VZ61: Even though taking it in and out of it's holster is a pain in the ass, great great gun for CQB. To be honest, I use this gun in CQB games more than any other weapon. Super light and can be fired one handed no problem. The 500 round drum mag is easy to wind up in combat.

It's all about the G.A.S. ( Gear Acquisition Syndrome)
For me it's about building a set up that I like. There are so many kick ass options for AR platforms, that it's easy for me to have multiples of the same type of gun.
Current Collection:
Star FNC: It's semi rare, and one of the best shooting replicas with very little modification Echo 1 OCW: It's a Mag-K. Nuff said. G&P Noveske Zombie Killer: Noveske's are some of the most beautiful looking rifles to me, so this was a no brainer. G&P CQBR: Now that I can play indoors again, I wanted something thing smaller. A&K SR25: Wanted a long range rifle. MP5: My first replica was a TM MP5SD, one of the few things I regret selling, so I wanted another one. Troy Alpha Rail M4: Troy rails are my second favorite, so I wanted something that will replicate the RS Ar I'm going to build. TM M4: Belonged to my best friend, now it "belongs" to my wife.
I did the same thing when I was an active musician, I had multiple basses in my collection. Some were because of their looks, but but each one had it's own sound. Use the right tool for the job you want to do.

I've tried try slim down my collection over the years, and my current arsenal consists of:
G&P-based M4A1 (Polarstar) G&P-based Barrett Rec7 LCT AKM
Sidearm KWA ATP faux-Glock
I've been trying to concentrate on building different upper receiver sets that I can swap back and forth between my G&Ps depending on circumstances.
I'd like to pick up a Mk46 SAW at some point, but I think I would need to part with my LCT do it, so I'm kind of biding my time, buying gear and trying to upscale my collection. I suppose I'd rather have a few high quality guns and pieces of kit than a dozen different rifles and pistols.

As one wise man once said in regards to gear, it is a "Sweet Sickness."
Dboys Aks-74: Main longarm, has the best internals (supposedly, I mean, I built the gearbox...) of my Kalashnikovs. Get's the job done.
Dboys Akms Full Steel: Got it because it was a steal at a shop, and I always liked the underfolders for some strange reason. Still stock, so it shoots just a bit high at games, though I generally get permission to use it just on semi.
Dboys Ak74mn: Generally just sits around as a backup for the other too, all of which have had gearboxes swapped around at some point or another. Someday I will go into modern impressions, someday...
Real Sword SVD: My precious. It is quite funny how useful unscoped it can be, and it has perhaps the most or second most amount of confirmed hits of the collection. I want to give it a proper scope and some spare magazines, but for now it remains as it arrived. Also helps to put a smile on my face after a bad day, just by holding it. Also got the "wow" factor at games.
Everything else in my collection is just gathering more dust in a closet, as is most of my East-Bloc gear. I would like to continue to expand, but life always is there to put a stop to that.

G&G cqb m4 with over $500 worth of upgrades and extra field upper. Main use is for cqb (obviously) quick objective based game types. Rushing around for shiggles. Extra upper for outdoor play and milsims.
AIM m4 loaner gun, I use it when I want to have a layed back play style. Slow setup gun.
G&G Mp5a4 another cqb gun. Gives me an option to use a different style gun, not your basic grab 'n go m4.
WE hi-capa I like the higher mag capacity for a side arm. Fun for pistol only games.

PRIMARIESKJW M4 X3 (yes I have three of them and yes I have a problem): Each one is set up differently. One is for CQB, another is set up for long range, and the last one is set up like a racecar gun. Each one can have the FPS adjusted from nothing to 500+ in a matter of minutes. By far the most reliable GBBR out of all the brands so far. KJW M700: This is for when you want to reach out and touch someone far away. This gun is so quiet which is what you'd want in a sniper rifle so that your position isn't given away. G&G MP5: Good gun for both indoors and out. Consistent shooter. ARES SL8:: I've always had a thing for different guns and I've had just about every different brand of SL8 come through my hands. This one is the latest. Dboys PDW: My CQB workhorse. Had this for 4 or 5 years now and has never given me issues and has been consistent since day 1. JG Beta Project AK: Got it because Pagan said it was cool. He was right. Weathered Red Star AK real wood: Everyone should have an AK that they can beat up. Stand alone M203 Launcher & masterkey (UTG tri shot): The M203 launcher is not the most practical weapon to have but it is so satisfying whenever you get the chance to drench someone with 100 bb's. The UTG tri-shot is also fun to have. For the price, everyone should have one. Echo-1 XCR: I wanted an M4 that wasn't exactly an M4. Only used it in one game but so far so good. SIDEARMSKJW M9: My current workhorse. Great shooter. Not a major gas hog. Gets the job done. Tokyo Marui 5-7: Got this for Christmas. Has yet to be used at a game but I already love it. Custom engraved 1911: Only been used a couple times. This is literally a wall hanger. Something nice to look at. Unknown brand gas revolver: Got this because the sheriff has one in the walking dead.

I'm a firm believer in the "two is one, one is none" school, so I try to have some redundancy in my kit. For that reason, I have:
2 TM SR-16s, with Hurricane metal bodies, Systema metal hopup chambers, PDI 120% springs, high speed gears, ARMS SIR rail systems, and some brand of tightbore barrel I can't recall. They were my primary weapons when I started playing but they've been eclipsed. The SIR systems make them absolutely immune to barrel wobble but they're heavy.
2 Star/ARES L85s, stock, although one keeps breaking down and will need some love if I get seriously into playing again, and the hopup on the other doesn't seem quite right. When they work properly, I absolutely love these guns. They're accurate, easy to carry, and they look badass. The only downsides are weight and rarity. Since they come stock shooting at 380-400fps, I've got them rigged for outdoor play.
I also have a PTW. Philosophically I want two, but pragmatically they cost too much. I use mine for CQB at the moment, or for outdoor play if I really feel a need for going cyclic. If I'm going to risk pelting someone, I'd rather do so shooting 330 than 390.
I also have a stock TM AK-47 and a stock TM Thompson that I bought purely to use as loaner guns for friends who want to play.

Sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internet. If you are going to make a joke, make it obvious by adding (joke) or something that indicates that it isn't serous. It could easily be read the wrong way and there are idiots out there who don't know any better and make it a goal to hurt someone.

First and foremost, I don't know you, so I have no idea if that is the kind of person you are. Secondly, I am not your bro. If you post stupid things on the internet, expect to get called out on it.

Just to add, we've had plenty of members come through here asking for upgrades to hurt their friends, or how they play games to the pain, or whatever. You haven't been a member for a full year, you don't have many posts, and it looks like at least a few of the more prominent and active members don't know you from games. We have no idea whether you're joking or another fucktard who wants to hurt people. Nothing about your post indicated that you were joking, so somebody was bound to assume that you weren't.
To answer the question at hand, I keep a PTW as my go-to and a VFC 416 as a fun alternative. I also have a stock TM M733 for two reasons. First, it'll never break, so if something happens to my other primaries, I won't miss out on play time. And second, when I play CQB, I don't see any reason to use a gun shooting hotting than 280ish. The distance and closing time is negligible and I don't want to hurt you fine gentlemen any more than I have to. I have a bunch of GBBs because I like collecting them.

Good Question(From Top Left to Bottom Right) A&K M249 (top's at a teammate's house, let him borrow it because his hop-up took a dump so I lent him my upper) - Support role G&P M4 RECEE - Marksman role (when I'd rather an AEG over anything else) VFC P* - Everyone needs a PolarStar right? AGM L96 @ 510fps w/ hop+seal mods - When I feel like laying in the brush for that *one* kill. G&P M4 WOC GBBR - Wanted to see what the GBBR scene was like. x2 KWA Mp9's - Who doesn't love Duel wielding full-auto sidearms? Javelin AK47 - Terrorist/Rebel loadout...hate this brand though. Hurricane M4 CQBR - My old workhorse, has never failed me in 6+ years, currently what my GF uses. KWA G19 - Sidearm Maruzen M870 Defender - CQB killer Been collecting so long that I have a ridiculous amount of spare parts, like uppers/front assemblies and part guns.
