I would first like to thank Pagan for having this event as always. I had a great time and im looking forward to some more games hosted next year. I mainly ran with the Team RAGE guys, which are a kickass team and cool guys to hang out with on and off the field. I had no issues throughout the day. Great day as always at No Limits . I loved Mosin's photo so much, I had to PERSEC it.

It was a great day yes. Before I forget, I might have someone's battery I borrowed. He was a older guy, MARPET, had a SAW. Would like to return it to him. Or maybe he grabbed my dead one by mistake...

Was a great day for some bb warz for sure. Z and Deuce, it was awesome running around with y'all and putting the hurt on the green team. Overall it was an enjoyable experience for everyone I'd say, the only big things I was ran into was people attempting to "bang kill" as a scapegoat for their inaccuracies and then being butthurt that the person didn't accept it. This happened once with a guy that was approaching my team mate (Mirage, whom was also ghillied) and saying bang as he's moving in on him, I stood up and thwacked him in the back with my sniper rifle and he seemed a bit upset that he was the only one in that scenario that had to go out. Second occasion was someone against me inside of the pine tree on the south end of the castle that when I bum rushed him tried to drop a bang kill on me. I told him mid firefight I don't have to accept that and we had a shootout about it in which I luckily got the advantage there. I get it, you're trying to be nice and allow me the chance to call it, just understand that I'm wearing a thick ghillie suit coat and chances are your AEG is not going to hurt me.
The second thing amongst players I noticed today was not calling hits when getting sniped. For some reason every other target I engaged at distance felt that because no enemies were around that it must have been a twig. Well and good in theory, but when I choose to hit you center mass in your plate carrier to make a loud "Thwack" and you can't roll with that, then don't be upset if I aim higher.
In regards to gameplay, Pagan, you did a great job keeping everyone entertained.
To the guy that said I talk too much out on the field, understand that there are administrative things most seasoned guys will take into account like ensuring the target at hand is actually in play and is not just being slow on drawing the kill rag. Unlike the new wave of "shoot first, ask questions later" airsoft mentality, I like to ensure that before I aim a 500 fps rifle at someone, they're actually a threat.
Got a few clips of us rushing around and shooting dudes. I think I'm going to just wait on publishing that until I got a good pile of them so I can make a compilation video of our outings at these rec games.

I said this same thing a few games ago in a AAR, some reason people feel they need to know who shot them, guess what, if a sniper is doing his job right you should have no clue where the bb came from. It is simple, if you get hit, call it. Do not assume it was something else.

Got a few clips of us rushing around and shooting dudes. I think I'm going to just wait on publishing that until I got a good pile of them so I can make a compilation video of our outings at these rec games. Had an identical occurrence happen to me, with someone trying to bang kill me through incredibly dense thickets, I've been playing airsoft nigh over a decade. BB's + Dense folliage = Nothings getting through. This was to the point where we could barely make eachothers frame out through the brush. He yelled "Bang, just call it man I don't want to shoot you at this point" at which point I knew two things. Not a single BB was going to make it through that thicket and I had two guys behind me that he had no idea about. So I put up, shoot one bb, he let off a long burst, nothing, not even one BB came through that thicket. Got up, retreated back five feet. He got up to give chase and got lit up by Zybdel and Deuce. Tried to explain to him why I wasn't taking that bang kill and he got pissy. All in all, I am pretty much done with bang kills. Just shoot people. No one knows how to use them right anymore, they're literally for when there is nothing, but you and your rifle within someones back at 5 feet to the point where you could walk up to them without them knowing and grab them. If you're 15 feet away from me, shoot me in the plate carrier. It's thick as shit. They're not for when you're face to face with someone and you wanna avoid a firefight, which is how people use them. If I wanted to play a game where I have "BANG" fights, I'd be walking in the woods at the age of 8 with a stick resembling a gun in my hand. You have a BB slinger, sling BBs. TL;DR - Bang kills should only be used when inside an arms length engagement limit.

I've used bang kills 3 times. All of them were CQB where I knew if I shot the person there would be blood. All three times the people I bang killed laughed and thanked me because I actually got the drop on them from behind. That is how they work.

If they would of drawn blood then you were inside your engagement limit and it is your problem at this point. If they accept the bang then cool but otherwise your fucked. I think bang kils should only be allowed in surprise situations. Like if I sneak up on someones back and they have no clue I am there and they are with in 5 feet then a bang is used.

I'm not sure if that's entirely accurate Kjones. An under 350fps replica at arms length can still draw blood.

Hah nice to see I'm not the only one who has these issues with excessive bang killers. It's airsoft. Everyone on the field is there to shoot and get shot at. If you're that close aim for hard points like plate carriers, drop legs, boots whatever. Just don't bang kill from greater than like 5ft. If you're face to face with someone and it seems like an engagement will end in bodily harm offer a parlay, step back to a safer range and try again. That should occur VERY rarely. I've parlay'd probably twice in the last 8 years. One was because of some rule confusion and the other both of us were on opposite sides of the same wall. The biggest thing is to remember that these things are all optional! A BB to the chest is not!

A green gas pistol at arms length will draw blood if it hits areas with tighter skin. My echo1 lone wolf drew blood and it chrono'd around 320. Tank shot me with his green gas pistol at Eastside a few weeks back and my hand had two places bleeding.

My team and I had fun. We had a huge issue with people calling hits, especially the WW11 impressionists. But I'm glad I was able to make it out to the last game of the season. Hope to see you all next year .
