Ooh. I like it. It's good that the green is definitely green and the tan is definitely tan.

I like the Arid and Alpine, but the Tropical is a bit cartoonish for me.
Black is well black.

I'm not a huge fan of Arid or Alpine, but Black and Tropic are sweet.

Sweet, i actually had done something similar in Photoshop a while back, now my dream is a real thing!
Although it is VERY ironic to make environment-specific versions of a camouflage that was designed for the sole purpose of being universal. I'm hoping that the plan is to have standard mc as the 'base' scheme for expensive things, the role of usmc's coyote brown for example, with base uniforms in specific schemes?
I doubt this will ever be issued, though.

I like that there's finally a good snow camo. I'm just hoping Crye makes a JPC with this new stuff.

(What the heck is this Insert Image glitch we've been having? It won't let me just link one pic, it has to link the entire post!) Original: Alpine: Arid: Tropical: Black: What were you saying? I like the variants if only for the fact that I could get arid and tropical and my standard multicam gear would still look OK. That would mean I can run my multicam APC on tan team or green team without the IFF issues.

From a practical viewpoint I still like the original the best. The varied color palette means it's got some value in almost any situation. On the other hand, as an airsofter who's sick of friend fire issues, modern uniform cuts with good patterns and easily distinguished color selections sound fantastic.

I really want to get Multicam Black for CQB purposes. It should also go well with my CB gear. But I wonder when and if Crye is going to release G3 and AC combat sets to civis.

From a practical viewpoint I still like the original the best. The varied color palette means it's got some value in almost any situation. While it is true that it is camoflauge in almost any situation, it is not perfectly camoflauge; or at least, not as camoflauge as the camos designated for those scenarios. When in desert enviroments, it is a little too green, but works. In a woodland enviroment, it is a little too tan, but it works. This is a quote from Mark Owen when asked about whether he uses an MC CPC: "to be perfectly honest I really like the AOR1 and AOR2 colors more than I like multi cam. Nothing against that pattern at all, it kicks ass. I just like a true woodland/jungle pattern like AOR2 when needed. Same goes for AOR1 and desert environments. Hope that makes sense" MC is a good camo for forces like the army, which don't have the money to outfit every sigle soldier with both desert gear and woodland gear, but for forces like SEALs and the like, they can afford it.
