This place is the TITS! If you did not go you were foolish. I had a great time last night. we had about 13 people playing, which is a good number because this place will overcrowd fast with too many people. Right now they have 4 floors open, 2 (4th and 5th floors) of them at airsoft fields, one (3rd floor) is the staging area/ shooting range/ rental area and the 2nd floor is a break area with a pool table, Foosball table and a few flat screen tvs. They said this will have one more playing field open with in 3 weeks.
Who ever is in charge of setting up the fields is doing it right, they are not just putting plywood up with no supports. They actually have all steel interior wall with plywood on the outside. It is very sturdy and can withstand the force of someone running into them ( that happened last night, ha ha) The lighting is good and can be slightly adjusted (you can turn half the lights off in the field).
I was slightly concerned on the area the place was located (being Detroit) but after last night I am no longer concerned, for Detroit, it is one of the better parts. Once inside the place it is very clean and secure. They also lock the front door after everyone comes in.
My main gun took a crap on me last night and ended up renting a gun. The rental guns are legit, I think they cheapest one they have is still $300+. I was rolling around with a hk 416 (very nice gun by the way).
The only thing I am not real happy with is the price. I was lead to believe I was going to be paying $15 for the day. Once there They said $15 was for 2 hours and it was $25 for the day ( plus tax, who charges tax?) @ $25 a pop I can not justify going more then 1 time a month. If the price was lowered to $15 then I would go 2 maybe 3 times a month.
The refs ( owners I think) were all really cool dudes, I enjoyed playing with them.

Also agree with Kjones, tango down is an amazing indoor airsoft areana. Even though it was my first time ever playing at an indoor place, I don't think I'll play at a better one.
And to comment on the layout of the field they are put together very well. The strength of the walls are very strong( I was the guy who ran into a wall and bounce off it unaffecting it at all).
About the pricing I was also lead to believe it was $15 and came to find out it was $15, but only for 2 hours and $25 for all day play. Not to mention that like Kjones stated that tax was added on(who does tax for airsoft games come on).
Overall was a great time and a ton of fun. Without a doubt I will be attending a lot more games there and I encourage many more people to do the same, you will not be disappointed. And looking forward to the other floors to get opened up for game play.

Glad to hear this is a good place. I'll have to check it out sometime when I have a working gun .

First I would like to thank Jason and the rest of the guys at Tango Down, first things first; thanks Kjones for the carpool "I get 34 miles to the gallon, you think I'm worried about $4?".
Next thanks to the guys that showed, we had an outstanding time and lay out of the floors make for fast paced force on force, capture the flag and bomb games.
Also like the fact that they have designed it for not just airsoft but a place to bring your team or a group of friends just to hangout.
Like Kjones said, their rental guns are legit, all HK series MP5's and M416's. Assault vests and Condor gloves.
I would also say drop the price to $15 all day and $10 for two hours would be a fair price or start a VIP membership program, that way you can charge your average joe airsofter $20 and give your dedicated airsofters a break.
But most important one of the owners is a fellow Marine vet, out of all the indoor fields I'm going to make sure my money helps a fellow Jarhead...OORAH

25 for a full day really isn't bad considering the size of that building. Modern skatepark charges like 15 for 3 hours and I bet they have way more revenue coming in than Tango Down does. A cqb arena is not a money making venture.

A cqb arena is not a money making venture. It's a big building, but playing 6v6 seemed pretty crowded. They'd have to have multiple games running at the same time if they have a large crowd show up.

I thought the 6vs6 was ideal. Any more and its too crowded. I enjoyed the bomb games the most.
Who ever it was with the little tan cqb m4. Your gun is way over 350 fps. I took a shot 8 feet away to the bare neck from a gun confirmed at 350 and it was just slightly broken skin. you shot me 6 times through cloths and I have huge dark red blood spots. you are easily over 400 fps.

Yea, that's one of the reasons why we left Kjones. That team that showed up late has a reputation for using very hot guns.

They had a chrono but someone dropped it just before we got there and it broke, so we had to do honor.
