Here is an exploded view of the gun: guay2.com/web/drawings/cm/CM16Raider_explode.pdfAlso a good video that shows how to break it all down: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWqLRsojBSgThere are set screws that hold it in place, and adjusting them can fine tune the barrel. Also, on all of my guns, I center the barrel in the outer barrel with either plastic shims I make out of pieces of milk jug, or teflon tape if it is a tighter fit. I highly doubt something is bent. You may just have to tweak the screws.

Yes, kinda... Sorry for not updating this thread earlier, I've been extremely busy with college the last couple days(and turned 21 Saturday the 14th), so not much foruming has been done on my part haha
I was very over-stressed because of college just starting, so I did make a bigger deal out of this than I should've. I ended up filling for an RMA at ASGI, and after a lot of back and forth communication, I printed my shipping label, dropped it off at the UPS store, and the package is on it's way to ASGI.
I was kind of surprised at how disorganized they were throughout the whole process. First, they marked it as RMA issued, which is normal. Then I messaged them to ask them a question, and the person I spoke to changed it to "Refund Issued" so I had to contact them so they would fix it. Then the shipping label they sent me was for a 0.7 lbs package, so I had to message them and let them know that this AEG definitely weighs more than 0.7 lbs, so a day later they sent me another one for 11 lbs.
Then they were somewhat vague as to what I was supposed to include, when they said "email correspondence" had to be included(I've never shipped anything out, much less for an RMA, so I really didn't want to mess this up), so after calling and getting a vague answer, I just printed out all the emails they sent me that seemed relevant, and included it in the box with a copy of the invoice, and shipped it out.
I was mad at UPS though, because I went to drop it off on Thursday night, and my local UPS store is supposed to be open until 6:30PM, and I showed up at 6:15PM; CLOSED. This is the second time this particular store does this, previously was when I went to drop off a Chegg box, same situation, but I digress.
Thanks for all the nice words everyone! It does suck that I have to wait another 2 weeks+ to get my AEG, but I'm gonna spend an extra $10 and get a rental I guess!

Spy Ops did that once to me. Didn't help that it's a 40 minute drive and I needed BBs for a game the next day. Sent from my XT1080 using proboards

UPDATE; I received my AEG yesterday. I'm currently enjoying GTA V so I'll make this short; It's fine! At least it seems to be. I haven't really stared at it that much, but it seems alright.
One con; After the package got back to ASGI, they forwarded it to the manufacturer(G&G), and that was irritating at first, but they replaced the entire AEG, so that was good. HOWEVER, after forwarding me the new AEG, ASGI did NOT chrono the new one, or they forgot to include the paper in the box, so I'll have to chrono it myself when I go play next weekend.
Possibly more info later.

You would have to chrono it anyway. You have to at every game. The only benefit, you are losing, is knowing whether or not you are good to go at a 20 foot engagement, or if you need a weaker spring put in. I don't know where these G&G's normaly chrono stock, so someone else will have to chime in.

I believe my combat machine chrono'd around 330fps or so stock. The several that I have chrono'd at games have all rang in under 350 stock as well.

Well the one the was defective had an included paper that claimed it was chronoed by the folks at ASGI at around 378FPS. Not sure why, it is the long barrel version, and not the CQB, so maybe that's why...

Its hard to say what ASGI does with their chrono process. I would not expect to see a stock combat machine shooting that hot. Mine was a 363 inner barrel. Looks like some reviews are putting them in the 360's. Guess the only way to tell what you have is to chrono it.

my Lr-8 (or something like that), which is what i believe you got, chrono'd at 340 fps at NL a month or so ago. I believe they're about 370ish stock though.
I'd say its a safe bet to plan on a 20 ft engagement.

Seems to be there is a difference between the base model combat machines and the raiders with their springs then. I'll have to pay attention during chrono next game to see if that theory is correct.
