Is SFOD still around? I'm going to be back in town for a bit as soon as my time in the Army is done. Looking for a competitive team to play with for a bit. Ill be there for a good 4-5 months.

The field is dead. I haven't seen Corey in ages. His name is Corey right? Grey Fox?

Yeah it must have at least been two years now if not three (or longer now...) but when Connors was on leave from the coast guard and back in town, he got Corey's dad to let a small group of us play at the field. It was Connors, Miles, Devil, myself and I can't remember who else, but it was only a few of us and I think we were probably the last people from MIA to actually play airsoft at the SFOD field. Unfortunately it wasn't pretty either. A lot of the City was in disrepair and sad considering all the memories many of us had playing there years and years ago.

I remember such a game. I tried looking for pictures, but I'm starting to think I didn't take any. I remember a pistol only game and someone's desert eagle.
Edit: that was on July 3rd of 2011.

EDIT: Ahh it was 2011 then... It broke my heart to see the field in the condition that it was. Glad though that we had an opportunity to play there again though even if it was only a few of us.

Is there any chance we could repair it and start hosting games again?

Is there any chance we could repair it and start hosting games again? Highly unlikely. The field is owned by Corey's parents. If he's not playing then I don't think they're going to be keen to open it back up. Sent from my XT1080 using proboards

If he's not playing then I don't think they're going to be keen to open it back up. Pretty much that. Also, Corey's dad from what I was told, wanted to charge a lot more for people to play there which probably would have dissuaded people from attending there.
