First off, I honesty had a blast. Second off, I did not do the night game so someone will need to fill that in. The only problems I saw in this whole event were some miscommunication on objectives and a few players talking while they were dead. But, to justify the miscommunication I would like to say that this event was made really quick and it was the best one I been too. Either know I only went to 2. But, I felt like the objectives made everyone have something to do besides just fire fights. I loved to story line of the event as well. Now, I think we only had 3-7 short on tan from green. But, it was still fun. First time I actually decided to jump in some mud just so I had cover and got people out, I was that much into the game. For the ones who have airsoft with me. I was usually way more passive on the first one. Only gripe I got is with comax due to him not updating his team boards on the roster. But, that's it. I had fun being comax little body guard as going around doing objectives. All in all I wanna say everyone actually called there hits, at least in my encounters. My friends feel like they got shot from a ricochet but, they stil called there outs just in case. Not ot mention free hotdogs? psh bonus points for that. I just wish it was more towards the cars. (Btw I lost a dboy 500 round high cap M4/M16 Mag. If anyone finds it let me know ) Only a hour drive...I honestly would love to have another event from you guys. All you needed was a little more time. Thanks for the awesome experience. Not having coms till a com tower was up was so awesome. I have nothing else to say.

I had a great time. At the time that I left, green still didn't have the comms tower set up but oh well. I loved the story for this event, the crazy guy on channel 3 was a great twist, got some laughs out of that. There weren't any hit calling issues that I noticed and the people that were there were pretty cool.
For improvements, there needs to be less down time between breaks and less confusion, for a first event here it was pretty good, could have been much worse. Try and build up the field a little more, clear out the trails and try to get some shelter built, that would be great. The dinner break was kind of weird because nobody knew what was going on, maybe have somebody go on each channel and say it's dinner time.
I left during the night scenario because I could see black and more black (doesn't help that I forgot my clear lens goggles at home and that my goggles I had were fogging but oh well).
Overall, I would go to another one of these, I had lots of fun, even though my squad got attacked by wolves and I was only in one firefight, but still had fun. This field has lots of potential and I trust that you guys can make it a great field. I would also like to thank Hylander for hosting this event, he did a great job.

First, off, I want to thank everyone who came out and gave us a try. We appreciate it! You guys are awesome!
Also, I want to give Priest a shout out. He did all the story lines and much of the objective writing. We spent much time making objectives, so everyone could be involved with more than "Go to grid D5 and watch the area for an hour" kind of objectives. Thank you Doom for letting us use the property.
I'm about to be my own critic for a second. As being our first event, I see lots of room for improvement. We needed more mods, four was not enough. I think we got a little a head of ourselves having a night OP at our first event. Though the guys that stayed had fun, the CO's did not receive there Night Intel packet on time. I believe the XO's received them but were not given to them right away. Once again, our fault.
A few other things, the property we used did not have many landmarks, which made it hard for maps and coordinates. If we use that property again, we would have to make distinguished markings.
Lastly, organization and clarification. Like mentioned above, with only 4 mods and 2 planners, it was a bit tough to be in 10 places at once. We will work on that. We planned this event in less than a month. We will take several months to plan an event in the future.
As the players, this game was the first game I've been to where hit calling was not a problem. Thanks guys for being honest. Now, we had a theft. This makes me extremely angry. A guy left his L96 by his car, and when he came back, it was gone! Maybe you grabbed it by mistake, I don't know. If you took it, please contact me. If you give it back, there will be no questions asked, I guarantee!
For the night OP, we had many things planned that were not played through. However, a lot a guys seemed to have fun making ambushes and taking out the enemy. Thank you for staying late fellas and ladies. I met a lot of cool guys like Tim, Moffitt, Bubba and his crew and many others! Most of everyone I talked to said they had a blast and it was good for a first event.
In conclusion. We learned a lot from yesterday. We would love to put out more OPs in the mid-Michigan area. Hopefully you gives will give a another chance as we improve. I would like to tip my hat to people and groups like Canto, Suicide Kings(Pagan), Hellfish, OCAA, and others that host and plan events. This is no easy task and I have mad respect for you guys. Lots of work goes into this, and prior to this, I had no idea what it took.

This was honestly our first officail MilSim. It was my test of ability as a Squad Leader and i feel I did horrible. I apoligize to anyone in my squad for that. I promise, Ill get some new goggles and be better next time. But to the field. This place has some potential. Landmarks are greatly needed and more destiguished trails as well. I think any types of structures would help in the longrun, even if it just a peice of plywood with a sprypaint marking. There were so many places that looked exactly like another place on the other side of the field (i.e a clearing that looks the same as two other clearings) My squad got into only one real firefight during the first game and during the secound we spent most of our time trying to find our way out of the woods and by that time the game was over.
Honestly I am very disapointed in the lack of conflict but that was mostly on my part. I spent my time trying to complete the objectives instead of fighting. I did enjoy the objectives though. They were really thought out and spiced up the game very well.
Id still say that if the boreders were either brought in smaller, or more destinguished landmarks were put in place that this could be a much better field to play in.
Last Id like to say is that I really enjoyed meeting everyone and it was a really good expirience. You guys did great for your first MilSim, there were things that need to be tweaked but thats to be inspected. Its really a great start and I look forwared to teaming up with Immortal and other temas in the future.

Wolf, this was the first time for me being a squad leader to. So, since most of my squad was new players we stuck with the to make sure there were no captures. But, your right the land mark were somewhat of a problem, but I was with the CO most of the time and he was decent with the map. I think we got lost twice but, overall it was fun. Got into one fight was pretty major with some craziness. But, the night game still seemed like it would be fun. Wish I could of stayed guys. But, I def want you guys to make another event.

The map was essentialy useless to us, that combined with a faulty compass, and even GPS couldnt help us. Altough I believe my issue was I had been reallying on those tools instead of my own self. I can usally find my way very easily but just the fact of my goggles being fogged to where I couldnt see made everything 10x harder. it was deffinatley a very interesting game.

I just counted 24 mosquito bites on my arms. I should've brought some bug spray. I just have a couple questions, when will the next event be and what team found the cure?

We are looking to secure another AO before making another event. And, we are making a final count of points. When we have that, I will announce the winner.

OPSI did good work. As best I could tell no one was being blatantly uncooperative or ignoring objectives - made easier by the fact that we didn't know where else to go. We were at about half strength and that was fine by me.
Deploy on line and sweep those fools, let our BB's create the wall of death.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure I heard 'Don't shoot me, I'm an American!' at some point, I have nothing else to say.

I'm just gonna say, I enjoyed the event, Immortal obviously put a lot of time into the Story for the game and the objectives, I enjoyed it. They were some pro's and con's but that's to be expected for a first event.
Pro's Free Event Interesting Objectives Mod's Cosplaying as Local's Strict Enforcement of Full Seal Balanced teams Big AO Camping Great event hosts, made me feel welcome
Con's Hard Time reaching Admins on radio's initially, at least on the green team magazine regulations yet labeled a milsim AO was too big for the 40 some players that showed. Finding Respawn was difficult, this was helped a little by the witch doctor. Here was my biggest issue, There were no noticeable landmarks, objectives for each team was spread out in packets tacked onto trees, these we hard to find, if Immortal were able to build on the field (hopefully they can it was a good field) and place the packets on the buildings that would have sped up gameplay.
All and All this was a good event, It was nice being able to get out of the house and travel. Me and Ares enjoyed our selves and hanging out with Immortal after the event at their campfire was a blast. We laughed at how ridiculous some of the objectives were (bring the locals a pretty women and gain ability to heal at the village) I look forward for attending more events. Props to Immortal. + 1 Imaginary Karma.

I had fun but I agree with everyone and there needs to be some landmarks because lot of the game we were lost but some off that is my fault because we were using my crappy ww2 compass that was getting thrown off by my metal gun ( I didn't realize it at the time), also we were to dumb to think "hey the suns in the west ." The night game was a little confusing because my squad never even was briefed and never found spawn and spent most of the night trying to figure out were they heck we were but with a few tweaks this can be an amazing event and any further events I will go to because its so close and has lots of potential.
