I had a great day and in the end, the SEALs managed to kill UBL. I'd like to thank Mosin and team RAGE for putting this event on. I will put some GoPro footage up later. Its been a pleasure playing with everyone and meeting new people.

Let me start off by saying I had lots of fun at this event. There were definitely some really nice parts of the day that I haven't experienced at other events. The storyline and objectives were good (really like how much everything impacted itself) and the mods did as well as I've seen at other fields/events. As for the negative parts of today, I will say I was very disappointed with the actual players that were there. Many of our Opfor players were clueless and seemed they couldn't even help themselves (so much friendly fire). There seem to be a lack of hit calling and airsoft etiquette which was very disappointing due to the fact it was an 18 and up game. The game was setup good and I enjoyed it but no hard feelings to others, this was one of the worst teams that I had played for at an event (not the leaders) and the lack of hit calling and amount of BS was ridiculous compared to the age group that was there. Would love to go to another event hosted by Rage just would hope for the future a better crowd... Still met some really cool people and hope to play with Helmet and Nine again!

I know exactly what you mean, I feel a lot of our team was sloppy and could not manage themselves without someone on their ass. Had a good time playing with you Nine, Husky, and Dan. We need to squad up and run stuff at the next op.

Had a really good time, although i got frustrated when it got dark due to issues with my radio and equipment. i got to apologies for my display of frustration towards the end. However, the game was very well put together and the refs were very good. I got to meet a lot of nice people today, and although there were issues, I still feel like there were a lot of good quality players out there.
Thank you team Rage for putting this together.

I had nothing but fun. Even the full cavity search. At night it always seems to turn to chaos, at least from what I read in other AAR's (I popped my night op cherry today). Honestly I feel it could have been much worse though, so I'd mark it as a success. Team Rage, huge props, and thank you for planning it out so well. I never experienced lack of hit calling, and for how many times I was wearing my red rag no one can say I didn't call my hits. Edit: By the way, my only disappointment was no one showing up at the B-dubs. X and I went straight there, walked all through the place, sat out front for 10 minutes, then went home. No beer, so sad...

When I arrived, my first thought was, "wow, low turnout." It became clear throughout the day, though, that this was a blessing. Small games on this field work really well, especially objective based games; there's just more room to move when you don't have to deal with swarms of players.
Big thanks to Mosin and all of RAGE for making this an awesome game. I really appreciate the time and effort you guys put into this event, and I hope you are as happy with it as we all were.
I had a blast with everyone on the field today, so I'd also like to thank everyone that came out and made the event fun.
Shout-out to Helmet for capturing me and killing the rest of my squad from behind.
I want to set something straight before people start bitching about it: the bang kill. Bang kills are a courtesy to people inside your engagement limit. If you want to engage someone, and they are inside your minimum engagement limit (or very close), you can offer them a bang kill. However, they do not have to accept it. If you had them dead to rights, nine times out of ten, they will accept the bang kill; if they don't, whoever gets shot first is dead. A good rule of thumb is to keep your gun trained on them, off the bang kill, and if they don't accept, open fire, perhaps with a sidearm so engagement limits can still be followed for everyone's safety (you offered them a way out without getting shot, and they didn't take it). I bring this up because while myself and three other SEALS were dragging UBL's corpse to the safe zone, we came across two AQ operatives. We were fairly close to them, and one said, "Bang. Bang." then fired a couple shots. His claim was that he bang killed two of us, and shot the other two. I don't know if those shots actually hit or not, since I didn't get hit. We did not accept the bang kills, shot them, and moved on. My intention is not to call anyone out for this, but to educate. I've heard dozens of stories of people approaching multiple enemies, and trying to bang kill all of them at once. That's not how it works, and it's certainly not in the spirit of the Bang Kill.
Also, I shot UBL. I think I'll retire now.

I was hit by those shots that were fired. I called myself out and headed back to respawn, which is where we were going anyway. I would have put my chem light up, but when I went for it I realized I still had it out from when I was shot earlier and bandaged up from a medic. So I'm sorry about walking around live, with a chem light out. Honestly, I feel like a bonehead.

I was with the guy who did the "double bang kill". I will say, after reviewing it in my mind, that was kinda BS on his part (AND on my part for not doing what was right). I totally agree in point and shoot rather than "oh I got like all 3 of you. bang bang bang". So for that, I do apologies for not defending what was right at the time.

Just wanted to say on behalf of all of Team RAGE and I that we hope everyone had a great time. I had a lot of hand shakes at the end of the night which reinforced that we had a good game going. I hope that everyone was informed on objectives, scenarios, and reasons behind outcomes during the game as I know how confusing that can be to be sitting back at the Embassy and not really doing much or knowing what's going on elsewhere, but thanks to those who held security on it (And I'm sure got your fair share of a fight a time or two, I know because I watched).
In regards to the players itself, I feel like once the SEALs won the first mission the OPFOR sort of lost comradery and the more seasoned guys on OPFOR were looking for the main objectives while (As quoted by an OPFOR player) the other "squad" was basically cannon fodder. You could see first hand how cohesion and teamwork paid of just by the raid itself, when SEALs and CIA infiltrated I must say if I had a night camera out for that it'd probably look something close to the Zero Dark Thirty raid. The 13 year old kid that wandered into this game wasn't even an MiA member, and I have no idea how he found out about this game but he did and I figured since OPFOR was as lopsided as it was (18-12 favor US Forces) I figured we needed everyone we could get so I told his Dad to grab him a black shirt and he'd be in.
We tried our best to keep as many people engaged in the action as possible and I think the low numbers played out in that favor. Had we of been with 20-30 more players on field although the firefights might have been a little stronger the overall gameplay would have had more downtime for certain elements and honestly I feel like anything more than a 25 on 25 would have been overkill.
I just want to thank all the players that returned my tourniquets (I think I'm missing one, which I can safely say probably just hasn't been counted right by me just yet) as well as the players that kept the game honest. I did receive a few complaints from Deb (Action Paintball Owner) that players were shooting from inside the safe zone, as well as going the entire day absent a barrel condom. These are two complaints that I know of that Deb said if her Husband was there would have kicked us out for those violations. I know I can't be everywhere at once but I didn't expect that sort of behavior to even take place, so that was unfortunate and honestly I hope that it doesn't mean we won't be returning.
I know a lot of you guys have good feedback to offer, and I'd like to hear it. Some talking points I'd like to get feedback on are the medic setup that we had, calling in a bird/mobile casualty collection points, mission briefings/storyline, any excess downtime, anywhere you could have seen some improvement and anything else you think is good to bring up. This is the best time to bring this stuff up when it's still fresh in our minds.
Thanks again for everyone that attended, I really wish numbers could have been just a little higher and maybe a bit more even for that matter, but I suppose that's what you get when two other fields decide they want to host a game on the same day and the same time and for a hell of a lot cheaper. On a side note, I've got about three full boxes of MRE's still, two that are sealed. If anyone is interested PM me.

This was my first time actually getting out to an event period! I had a blast all the way up until I had to leave early. It was great getting out and meeting some really cool guys. And I agree we need to form our own little high speed low drag opfor team. Oh and Tank I expect to see a video of you letting your guard down and being taken prisoner haha.

I think it was one of those things where it was the end of the day so I was just fucking exhausted and I wasn't thinking. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

I had a great time at this event. The CIA contingent kicked ass. If it wasn't for you guys being Super Secret Squrriel by stealing all of the intel at OPFOR base. We would not have the shot at UBL.
Rage this game was awesome. It had a very real world feel to it with the briefings and the procters. Very well thought out.
Big props to Helment and his buddy for sneaking up behind us and taking out our entire squad and captureing Guns.
The UBL raid was awesome. From the word go it was like 2 minutes and Geronimo was KIA.
