I looked through the entire manufacturer forum, but heard nothing about this brand. Is it any good? What is another comparable company? (Looking for quality in terms of internals for sniper rifles.

I bought one of their vsr-10 buckings. It was a night and day difference. From my experience they are great.

Angel Custom is Evike's house brand. With that, you have to be careful because Evike will have a bias on how they present their products since the contribution margin to them will be much greater. However, that doesn't mean all their products aren't what they should be. Some of their parts like the PSSL96 piston is pretty good while other products are complete crap. From my experience, they have mostly good manufacturing processes but, their quality checks aren't the greatest. All of my AC parts have either been up to par, or complete lemons. I believe that most veteran airsoft players here would tell you that they can be a cheap alternative to mid-grade parts but, if you want to ensure that you get the best, every time to look for a more reliable source. I don't even know if AC makes their own parts. If anything, just understand that it's basically the Evike brand and that they're not as great as Evike will tell you. I am impressed though, by the range of products they have.

I bought a hop-up bucking from them last year and it was junk. Maybe it was a fluke but I definatally won't buy them again.

My sniper rifle was upgraded with mostly Angel Custom parts. I haven't had a single problem. Wonderful parts with good quality for the price.

As far as I have always known, Matrix is Evikes house brand.

Ranger is correct, Matrix is evike's house brand while Angel Custom is actually a legit company. Their barrels are the best for the money, hands down. I've also had good luck with their rocket valves and their hopup nubs.

I've heard nothing but good reports on their Vsr pistons, over on the sniper forums. I wanna say that they make a good hopup for the vsr also? I recall people talking about it a bit. I dont use a Vsr, so I dont follow the aftermarket Vsr parts very much. I rock an M28 myself.

They're VSR hop is pretty impressive. I threw it into my well mb07 and was decently surprised.
The barrels they make are also on the better side of things. In my opinion as far as barrels: JBU<Matrix<Madbull<Angel<Prommy.

"Angel/Matrix: In short if these barrels are an upgrade to something, the author is unaware of what that would be. These are Evike house brand barrels. They do not necessarily represent any single brand, so are difficult to pin down specifically regarding performance. The author has tested multiple, and found several features common among them: extreme low quality in regards to bore diameter consistency, finish, finish consistency, barrel straightness, barrel hardness, barrel flexibility (likely leading to low straightness given non-existent padding/packaging from the retailer) twin hop retention slots. This is done so, presumably, the barrel is compatible with both standard AEG and M14 style hop units. Incorrect hop retention slot placement. Why this is an issue, the author can only speculate. Some of the barrels apparently had hop retention slots, which interface with the C-clip on hops, placed such that they could not be properly seated and retained. The only solution was for the user to re-cut the slots, or tolerate an un-retained barrel. Why a company would chose to deviate from established specifications is unfathomable, so incompetence combined with an absence of quality control is the most likely cause."
Quoted directly from hunterseeker5 on airsoftmechanics forum. I haven't used one of their barrels, but I'm not going to try one anytime soon considering that information.
