Hey All,
I recently destroyed my Revision desert locust goggles by accident. Long story. Therefore, does anyone have any recommendations on some good eye protection goggles for a decent price. I was looking at two I was considering buying. One was the "Save Phace TEP Grunt Series Goggles" and the other "Lancer Tactical safety goggles." Any thoughts?

Arena Flakjaks are $35 on amazon and they work really well, and they're comfortable. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005VSPX7Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1376247391&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY190)
Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards

I picked up a pair of the Lancer Tactical glasses/goggles at Action Paintball in July and I love them. No fogging issues whatsoever, and they don't get in the way while aiming down the sights like some goggles do. Best part is they were only like $12 bucks or so.

Wiley X Spear. Cost a little bit more than some of the other options, but they are the best goggles I have ever worn.

Oakley M Frame Helo, apparently they are the bees knees and Lion Claws approved, so good in any other books I would imagine.

Not sure if running M frames with the Helo attachment is a great idea. You would still need a strap system that would keep them tight to your face and prevent them from falling off. I wouldn't necessarily call them an alternative to full seal goggles since the sides are still kind of exposed depending on the lens. That would leave the gasket responsible to stop the BB, which I would not want to be the person to test that out.

If you can get your hands on a pair of Bolle T-800's, I'd highly recommend that. I've had a couple for the past 4-5 years and haven't had any issues.

I used a pair of the Google style Smith optics and they worked well, I have the tinted and regular lens and they didn't fog up all weekend at northern lights. so I recommend them. I have the low pro's aswell and didn't use them but kicken' it in them and gear around my house and they don't seam to fog to bad. I too have had the Bolle' T-800's and those are pretty good goggles too.

I believe they have a strap system that comes with the Helo kit, I think Devil or Miles had them at Northern Lights, so maybe they can chime in here. But regardless, if they're Lion Claws approved, good enough for me.

I bought a pair of ESS goggles for $10 shipped. They say used but appear to be in new condition. Great goggles. If the service men use them they must be good

If the service men use them they must be good No it means that they were the lowest bidder for the military contract. I run a pair of Oakley O-Frames with the added dual lens and never have had a fogging issue. They make them in flat black with a black strap. The O is in white, but a little green or brown RIT die takes care of that. O-Frames usually run right around $40 and the added dual lens is around $12.

But Oakleys are also great goggles. I also second your choice.

If the service men use them they must be good No it means that they were the lowest bidder for the military contract. But the product still has to work in order for the company to get the contract and keep it. If the product isn't any good, units will spend extra cash on something better, like they were doing with the P-Mags for awhile and the issued ones weren't being used. Basic economics still apply to military contracts.

Its a shame goggleoverstock.com isn't up anymore. You could pick up FlakJaks for $12.00.
