Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will not be provided, it is highly advised you bring your own easy to prepare food, like trial mix, Dehydrated meals, MRES, etc. This Event is being held in the middle of July, I cannot stress how important proper nutrition and Hydration are.

Age Limit
15+ Unless Approved by an player affiliated with the OCAA, approved personally by me or vouched for by another respectable MiA player over the age of 18.

Registration and Payment
- We want to get a dedicated bunch of players coming to the games we host so this Event is free.
- Walk ons are Welcome, the more we can draw in the better.
- Waivers will be available on site at registration
- Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian, and play with a player over the age of 18.
- If you are a local player or approved by the event host you are exempt from the age requirement but a wavier must still be signed.

Uniforms Requirement for each team are as followed.

ArmorGroup International (Green) Marpat, Woodland, Hunting Camo, A-TACS FG, you know the Drill.

The Phoenix Offensive (Tan) Desert Marpat, Contractor, ACU, 3 Color Desert, Multicam. etc. ALL Players wearing Civilian clothes that ARE NOT green in color will be placed on the tan team.


FPS and Engagement Limits

1.0 - 350.9 fps - Arms length engagement limit
351.0 - 409.9 fps - 20 foot engagement limit
420.0 - 550.9 fps – 50 foot engagement limit, bolt action or permanent* Semi-auto replicas only.
551.0+ fps - Prohibited or allowed with permission of event organizer only

*Permanent semi-auto refers to replicas that do not have full-auto fire capability, no matter how the selector switch or other user input device is manipulated.

Ammo Limits: highcaps are permited
Riflemen - 1500 rounds in any configuration
Support - 2500 rounds in any configuration
Sniper - 300 rounds in any configuration

*Loose BB's are not permitted. Spare ammo must be kept at HQ or off the field. Conserve your ammo.

[Backstory]
2020: After a lengthy rebellion in Michigan, the United States are no longer united. The fall of the US dollar and the loss of all of reserve has caused the country to go completely bankrupt. In desperation, the former United States turned to the worlds most powerful and rich. Each of the 50 states are to be sold off individually to the highest bidder or given to countries to settle debts.

Michigan attracts several wealthy entrepreneurs and world leaders from all over due to its lakes, timber and other natural resources.

2021: January. A month before the auction, the former United States allows the prospecting buyers to send surveyors to Michigan to inspect and appraise the land for their possible future investment. One team of surveyors, hired by Mike Batista, a Brazilian billionaire involved in mining and oil production, came up with something big during their time in Michigan…

2021: January, 1 week before the auction. The survey team hired by Batista goes missing!

2021: February, 4 days before auction. A leak spreads like wild fire. Every news station in the world reports the same headline: “MASSIVE ALLUVIAL DEPOSIT FOUND!”. One of the largest alluvial deposits ever found has been discovered in Michigan; left over by its many lakes and rivers. This is one secret Batista didn’t want exposed.

*Note* Alluvial deposits are known to carry Platinum as well as other precious gems and minerals.

2021: Auction day. After the leak, the auction attracted double the buyers. A frenzy of bids was placed, but it all ended with OGX Petrol Gas, Batista’s company, on top, paying a mere $273.00 per acre, totaling to $17,120,812,800.

2021: 3 days after the auction, the survey team hired by Batista was found. They washed up in a boat off of the coast of the Lake Superior. They were all dead. Countless lacerations, missing limbs and burn marks were found on every one of them. Tortured, who is to blame?

2021: May. Michigan, now named New Brazil Mining Conglomerate is now under the complete control of OGX Petrol Gas They begin setting up a massive mining operation at the heart of the alluvium deposit.

Shortly after setting up the operation, New Brazil Mining Conglomerate becomes under attack and harassed by several other nations and private companies, all of them trying to get a piece of this deposit and the profits. The defense force of the New Brazil Mining Conglomerate is able to fend them all off with its hired guns, but cannot continue to keep this up if they want to continue efficiently mining.

2021: June. Batista seeks outside help. He places a “wanted ad” out there in hopes to hire a large army or security force to help him maintain control of the New Brazil Mining Conglomerate and Batista promises a large share of the profits to the winning contractor.

2021: July. Two PMC’s ArmorGroup International and AKE Group stand to be the best fit for the job and have placed matching bids for the contract. OGX Petrol Gas is unable to decide which to go with, so they decided to invite both groups to their land to fight it out., Armor Group International Wins the contract.

2021: September: With mining operations protected stock brokers race to by OGX shares, for the first time since 2008, the world economy is finally starting to look like it is improving. Mike Batista’s company, despite having to pay AmorGroup a hefty fee for their protection , is projected to make billions.

2022 May: Local civilians start loosing their land as more platinum deposits are discovered, many who refused to leave there land are shot and killed. Several veterans of the rebellion in 2017 begin to meet in secret. They call themselves “The Phoenix Offensive” a patriotic terrorist organization bent on pushing the mining companies out of there homes. Knowing they will not survive an extended open conflict, they plan an attack so huge that it would crippled the OGX’s private Army and force them out of the region. They acquire several container shipments of weapons meant to go to ArmorGroup, containing M4’s, AK-47’s, G36’s, ACR’s RPG-7’s and most importantly, high explosives.

2022: October 19th The Phoenix Offensive begins their attack on several mining installations, armed well enough to match ArmorGroup bullet for bullet. They must destroy the regions main mining installation, capture key points to prevent ArmorGroup from sending reinforcements, and eliminate the head of OGX’s mining operations in order to force them out of the region and re-establish liberty in Michigan.

OBJECTIVES:

Green Team Objectives:

Protect Their Mine at all costs. ( 50 Points if un-captured by the end of the game. ) Primary Objective

Maintain Mining Operations (Transport Platinum out of mine to HQ)
20 points upon completion, worth Zero if mine is lost and not all the platinum bars are moved. Total platinum should be 100 Secondary Objective

Tan Team Objectives

Destroy mine (placing smoke bomb or other device in the mine) 50 points. Primary Objective.

Take out Green Team's leader (One time objective) 20 points. Secondary Objective.

Competing Objectives.

Command Posts: 5 for each one owned by the end of each break (On going)

Medical Supplies: Gain medic ability by capturing crate of medical ribbons.

General Rules:
1 Shot, you’re out. Failure to call hits is cheating!

Once you are out, walk back to your teams respawn, either put a kill rag on your head or put your rifle above you head to signal you are out

Talking while dead is cheating!

Do NOT pass a platinum bar off to a team mate when you are out.
You must drop it when and where you are hit. Failure to do so is cheating!

Respawns will occur every 10 minutes on the hour. A horn will sound the time to respawn. Respawning before the set time is cheating!

If you are not INSIDE your teams respawn when the repsawn horn is sounded, you have not respawned, you must wait for the next horn.

Cheating will not be tolerated, nor will general statements about a team cheating be. (Ex: “The tan team is cheating!” or “They are cheating!”). If you see someone cheat, report that player to a host, ref or your commander. Be SPECIFIC about the cheater. Identify them as best as you can and they will be dealt with. First offense is a warning; second offense will result in that player being removed from play for the day. Each case will be reviewed by the hosts and all final decisions will be made by the host.

MEDIC RULES: Each team will have three medics. Players will be brought back into play by tying a white cloth around their arm. Each player my only be revived twice per round, after that they must spawn normally, removing these white cloths after you are revived is cheating. Medics may not use any white cloths they find laying on the ground.

Also, since we have developed a reputation for being unorthodox when it comes to hosting, (Our events being chill places to hang out, campfire storytelling, broken replica burning ceremonies for saying goodbye to a special AEG that's FUBAR, being super friendly, etc.) I want to get your Opinion on having a live concert after games end at 10. I talked to a band (Cradle The Fall) today at a concert and they are interested, they are pretty good, they are actually opening up at the outdoor venue at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw for Vince Neil, Great White, and Slaughter August 22nd, so they won't disappoint. That is an interesting Idea but that would almost have to be a private invite game if we did that because I don't think many players are going to want to have there AEG's away from them in the middle of the woods.

What you could do is what a group of us discussed earlier: instead of using ACTUAL guns, use a random item (item X, X from here on forth) to symbolize that the "freedom fighters" have gained some more supplies

For instance, if item X was a large ammo crate full of bricks,the FF would have to bring it back to HQ to reap the benefits.
If 1 ammo crate meant 1 more magworth of ammo per life for your terrorist group (to fit your "limited quantities of ammo" scenario), then it could entirely change the game.

What I mean is this: if you were to start out the rebels with 2 mags each, they would NEED to get more ammo crates to stand a chance against the privite malitia of the mining corporation.

So heres a scenario:
The game begins with everybody having their own weapons: you get 2 magazines. If you take two for your primary and none for your secondary, then you have no secondary. (or vice versa)
So the rebels know they will be severely outgunned if they don't get more Ammo crates.
Therefore, the rebels will have to fight to take over a shipment with very limited resources, while the soldiers don't. ( it's not going to be easy, but it will help you follow your plotline).
However, as soon as a case is returned, you now have 3 magazines, 2 cases= 4 magazines and then so on and so on.

You could have several shipments, or 1 huge one instead. You could add it in to your main objectives, or you could set up an entire part of the day for just this portion. Or scrap it entirely. It's just, in real life, you may only be fighting with 60 shots left. To me, it's just a way to incorporate real life.

Although Puma's idea is very thought out and well done.... it would get to confuseing I believe. And if not that then people would just become agrivated with having a dissadvantage. You know... theres always that one guy. Other then that, Im loving the idea of more then one objective. The objective idea itself gets kind of boreing after awhile and throwing more otions into the game can spice it up a bit. The only issue is doing it in a way thats not confuseing or overwellming to the players.

Your best bet is to PM Ogre directly and see if he has any extra rifles available. If he does not then your best bet is to follow Ghost's advice and see if some other attendee has a rifle you can borrow.
