I recently got an HK45 and an AIM pistol light to go along with it. I've always used hard holsters, but I more or less need the flashlight on my secondary at all times now. For those who have a flashlight on your secondary, what holster do you use?

I also have an HK45, but I use a Surefire X300. I am currently using one of those soft adjustable Tornado holsters. I removed the lower leg strap and removed the belt connector and run the Velcro strap that used to hold the belt connector directly around my riggers belt. This keeps the pistol as high as possible to prevent it from moving around. I used that setup at Northern Light and had to use my pistol and light several times inside the buildings. It was easy to both draw and holster the pistol and it did not flop around at all. The snap button retention is annoying but very secure. I don't know who makes my Tornado holster, maybe Guarder maybe Condor, but it seems reasonably well built and in the 30+ CQB games and 6 outdoor events I've used it in it hasn't had any signs of fraying or falling apart. It was around $25 so if you are on a budget it is probably your best bet.
Safariland now makes a 6004 drop leg for the HK45 and X2-300 and TLR-1. I tried to buy one a while back and at the time it seemed like a difficult model to track down. I was holding out for a version with their thumb button system (ALS?) but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. At this time it is only available with the thumb hood. It's on my to buy list. While I have no first hand experience with the 6004 I would bet my money on it being a better set up than the Tornado once it is modded to ride as high as possible. I don't know if your light would fit in this holster.
The HK45 doesn't seem to be mainstream enough for specialty holsters to be a priority. There are several normal holsters out there, but as far as I know the 6004 is the only HK45 specific one that is weapon light friendly.

Yes you will like the Safariland. I have both Versions for the 1911 with light and without. I love them.

I would have to agree, I have that gun both in airsoft and RS and there are not a lot of holsters made for it. The ones that are made for it, usually have to be ordered and have a huge backorder.

Yeah, that is starting to become pretty clear. I looked into a G-Code HK45 holster, but the waiting time was 4-6 weeks and I would've had to ditch the torch. Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely look into the 6004.

I discovered the Veridian light and green laser at a gun show and then bought one later that week. The light is super bright, the laser is a strong green and it can be toggled between different modes. Absolute great light and laser combo. Another great thing is Veridian makes a lot of Tac-Loc holsters for different guns to be used with their light/laser combo. It's like a blackhawk and uses the blackhawk mount but its for an even better piece of equipment. The only downside is the price. The light/laser is about $300 but it works magically and they make holsters for a lot of different pistols to be used with it.
