I can personally vouch for the Elite Force mags. I've got a set of five and they work like a dream. Not a problem yet. Other than that, the Magpul Emags look pretty sweet and a lot of guys use them without any issues. Then there's Pmags... 'nuff said.

@ogre I looked for that one, and was unable to find a listing for it, neither on ASGI nor on Evike. If anything, I'm already looking up if the G&G is easy to upgrade, and it is apparently so. From just adding an m120 spring, FPS jumped from 320-340, all the way to 375-400fps. Seems a bit too much, which would prevent me from playing indoors, so maybe I'd go with an M110, but I'll be fine with the stock marker gun for the time being I suppose.
@abbot As far as mid caps go, are there any brands I should avoid?

My Stock G&G is pushing 350 out of the box. I wouldn't put a high rated spring in there if you still want to play CQB.

As for mags to avoid, I'd just say hi-caps. They always have issues.

The winding, the rattling, no thank you. Mid caps are much more appealing to me; lower capacity, closer to real mag capacity than high caps, no rattling, no winding, etc. The only way I would use high caps is if by next summer I'm so deeply involved in milsim that I convince myself to get a HK416, convert it into an IAR and become a support gunner(Support gunner is my favorite class in Battlefield 3, not that I should go by that or anything haha).

Generally its a good idea to break in your mid caps, there are several ways I have no idea which is the ideal way, as it will help them feed better and say you have a 140 round mid cap its easier to hold closer to that amount once the mag is broken in.

I've just heard some G&G CMs run at around 300-320fps, seems excessively low... Once I get mine, I'll see how fast it chronos and then I'll see where I go from there. By the way, I heard slenderman is following you, how's that going?

Broken in? you have to break in mid caps, like the spring? That's news to me! I like to load and unload the mags at least 5 times before putting in my gun. What I do is put a little silicon oil in the mag, fully load, than hold the release and unload.
